SP2MP confirmed working. Lag switch

Because online is NOT single player and these consoles are 8 f*cking years old. The game simply can't handle 300 different color options for rims or the numerous different schemes for car add-ons. Rockstar had to pick and choose what is available online to keep the game running smooth. Why do you think the game freezes on so many people? There is sh*t brought into the game that the rendering engines can't keep up with. If you can't understand that, then, well, you never will.

Totally random numbers here, but game is supposed to render say, 100 colors for cars and 20 rims with a database of accepted license plates that it needs to render.

Now, 1,000 players glitch SP cars to MP.....the game now has to render 400 colors (300 of which it's not supposed to be dealing with) and 100 rims colors (80 of which is shouldn't have to deal with) and 1,000 additional plate names that aren't in the original database that it now has to render. It all takes processing power, whether or not the colors are already on a tree in the game or not.

 

This must put a real strain on the engine when looking at additional car mods that must be rendered on 15 player screens at once.

So if you play, I dunno. 5 races. Average payout with your poor driving/flying/boating skills: let's say 3 grand (1k in bets?), then do two average paying fun missions and two more profitable ones, hell throw a parachute race in there (2k + betting), maybe one easy-ass survival and a team deathmatch and a LTS, before returning to Freemode. You'd pull in ~ 60-100 grand in an hour, hour and a half. Do that a couple times and you earned a new Ferrari.

I know what I would rather do in a GAME... play it and have fun even if I have to use glitches to accomplish what I want without grinding or buying cash cards.

Well, I'm on the anti-glitcher's side, but I don't have a problem with people that use harmless glitches, that don't affect others but I do hate people that use them to get an advantage over other players. The SP2MP glitch seems okay to me but is it still called glitching when you use other hardware/software to do it? Anyway, that's fine for me.

 

There're definitely people here that are just jealous about other people's fun, but some glitchers here seem to have a quite strange mentality. So, a few of you use glitches (especially the SP2MP glitch) because R* offers you cash cards to buy? I have been playing this game since day ... 5 or so, lol, I don't remember but I never bothered about cash cards. Hell, I do not even know how to buy them, where can I do that? (I won't buy them...) So using this reason to justify your glitching is IMO stupid. It seems that you haven't played any other online games, where they constantly annoy you with messages about buying things with real cash. Also those cash cards are keeping Online alive or do you think people at R* are volunteers? All the DLC's (yeah, they weren't big but compare them to other DLC's from EA or Activision for example) have been given for free to us and it seems like the Spring Updates will be for free too. And the most important point, no one is forcing you to buy cash cards.

 

To the people that use the SP2MP glitch just for fun... Do what you want to do and have fun. I like to make the different modes, gain the money and buy the car that I wanted for so long. That's my fun. But please, don't blame cash cards.

 

Now there're people upset about the freezes... Maybe your glitching is really the reason for those? Do you ever thought of that? Not saying that it's a fact but just a guess. I didn't have freezes since... November but I play alone or on friends only lobbies so I don't know if public sessions work for me.

 

For people hating the glitchers... don't be childish and jealous. Glitches like the SP2MP glitch aren't affecting you (that much), if you see people doing it in free mode and you don't like it, leave and join another session. All your bitching is only then justified when they use glitches to gain advantage over you.

 

Anyway, my point is... respect each other for f*cks sake. We all like the same gaming series, stop hating, crying, moaning and complaining all the time. Try to be more objective and grow up people.
