After the next patch its only a matter of time before someone figures out a sp - mp glitch again i mean it happens every time a new patch comes out. So i would say just be patient and if there is a new one on Friday it wont happen till then.

lol i dont get why people are complaining over the fire truck being fixed. it's a good thing. at least now when a moron in a tank cant reach you in an alleyway or on a staircase, they wont call a firetruck to grief you further. i should know, im one of those morons who did that LOL. on another note, im glad they fixed a bunch of errors but most of these are boring and almost none of them made me feel "excited" in any way since almost none of them are gameplay related. no passive mode improvements, no tank improvements, and i bet your ass that im gonna freeze today since im downloading it right now. and i love how rockstar is releasing the capture creator on a friday. really rockstar? youre dragging the release of an update that nobody cares about all the way to friday? it's obvious that we arent gonna see any fun updates like the high life pack for another few weeks, if not more.

That Armored Truck note is a lie.. I'm in a session right now that just had 7 of them spawn. It's still happening as I type.

EDIT: I was about to attack a truck, then a connection error happened. 11 patches later and this is still a f*cking problem!?!?

Has the sub spawned at the Merryweather base for anyone? The pen is empty even after many approaches.

No fire truck is a bummer.

 

Griefing griefers is all this game was good for anyway & now when you blow them up, they scurry away to the top of a building in passive mode & there's nothing you can do about it. Poor show.

Coveted?

 

Never, never even once I don't think - maybe because the first time I did this it was joining crew members?

 

But since then, it has never come up once on the phone, or on the voting page either...

I don't think I have ever been offered it, but it used to be on my jobs list (along with the other 12 missions/Vs. they removed).

 

Apparently though, the removal of these missions was a mistake - they should be back soon.

 

Fire-Truck

 

The water hose 'fix' thing was also a mistake - I am not 100% sure but I think it was something they forgot about fixing.

 

Which is a shame, they only get used for killing passive players - not for putting out fires :0)

 

Unless they are 'passive-aggressive' ex-tank drivers, there is no legitimate use for it - probably more of a griefing tool than anything else.

 

Armoured Trucks

 

Apparently these are still spawning one after the others, according to someone posting on a forum thread, so is probably legit ;0)

Only a couple of things bummed me out.

Fixed an issue where Armoured Trucks could continually spawn.

Yeah, I knew it would happen eventually, but I didn't think it would be this soon.

Fixed an issue where if a player drank Whisky in their apartment until they passed out, this could cause a clone to appear who would then attack them.

Actually, my clone never got violent towards me. I used to try and piss her off, but she never did anything. She stood around or walked around the whole first floor of the apartment and that was it. I will miss my clone.

Sigh, downloaded the patch (ps3) and now all jobs aren't working. I either get teleported to the marker with nothing happening, allowing me to Free-Roam or I get a washed out image of my character without me being able to do anything, which means I have to log out of PSN, turn the game off or turn the PS3 off. I'm so done!

That is good to know. I really don't encounter many players using the firetruck hose on other players. I remember it being used a lot on other players during the days of GTA IV's MP. Good times, even if you were the victim.

That wasn't coming in this update. This update was mainly bug fixes and a few tiny things. The ability to buy a 2nd garage is coming with the High Life update.

 

 

I swear, 90% of the stuff getting complained about is stupid. Most of you people are complaining because your money-making glitches have been patched, or SP to MP has been patched. Both of which SHOULD be patched. That, or people are complaining about a useless firetruck.

 

The ONLY thing I dislike, is that they haven't fixed the random freezing yet. I got a random freeze about 10 minutes after starting the game up today. It's not enough to keep me from playing though, it only happens every once in a while.

 

 

 

Although, this is a good way to see what people are cheating. The people whining over Rockstar fixing the 'cheat' glitches, are most likely the ones cheating.

set a bounty,called lamar's boys and then sent merryweather mercs after him.

a level 20 player got the bounty!.
