Just checked my social club, my guy i ended up DNS'ing on is still 981 lol. Not fussed if they do reset it as it should go down to around 150 because thats what rank i got legit. Plus i have a second guy at rank 81 so all should be good.

No I saw a bunch of 900s after I downloaded the update early this morning. They are going to do that via maintenance sweep, and shut the game down for 8 hours, like they did when they siphoned off everyone's billions.

Reasons people might care:

1) They heavily glitched or modded their characters

 

... That's about it.. because it won't solve the guy who griefs you in every public game... If it upsets you someone has bigger numbers than you, it might fix it for a few days... but they will still be invulnerable while shooting you from a helicopter tank.

I'm legit but I think alot of players just get butt befuddled because the game has sh*tty payouts. So they take it out on the RP glitchers.

PS3 players havn`t got reset asfar as i know some of my friends are still 1000.
