It's so easy to get the Jet anyway though, this changes nothing.

 

I really don't know why people go on about the Jet being so useful for trolling anyway, it's a tin can. What rank do you unlock the sniper rifle, like 22? Anyone with a sniper can easily take down a jet. Just keep shooting the tail if you can't directly hit the pilot and they go down pretty fast.

 

Close, it is actually 21. But that is the standard, not the heavy sniper - I think that is level 90 to unlock :0)

Ah 22 I stand corrected. Yeah but i'm only level 82 and i've taken down so many jets with my good old orange sniper rifle, it gets the job done.

 

I guess in 8 levels those jets are hitting the deck even faster..

It is 21, but anyway - you are close enough at 82 - so shouldn't take too long to get the 'heavy' :0)

 

The heavy can take out a Buzzard with 2 or 3 hits, not sure how many the standard takes - probably 4 or 5.

 

The good thing about the standard though is in PvP it has 10 rounds per clip - so you do less reloading!

 

The bad thing is, if you hit the body with your first shot, if the other guy is using the same rifle he has a chance at getting a 1-kill head-shot!

 

This happened last night, I forgot to switch to the heavy! lol

Haha, you told me it was 21 and i'm all like "ah 22 I stand corrected". Either typo or not paying enough attention there...

 

How many rounds has the heavy got in a clip then (upgraded)? It's a one hit kill anywhere on the body isn't it (without armour)?

 

I'm a bit of a beast with the standard sniper as it is, can't wait for the heavy

Jets were beyond easy to steal before the update. Today I loaded up GTA 5 and went to the military base and turned the cops blind. It was literally just as easy to steal a jet as it was before. I just went into the base, got in a jet, and flew out. Its a pointless feature that will only allow noobs to get jets easier (which I did see in the same lobby as 2 people who flew into buildings moments later got jets without the military chasing them) but it doesn't affect the game too much besides removing an extremely small challenge.

Just 6, but if you are as good as you say you are - you won't need 10 rounds anyway :0)

Sounds like it is adding a couple more (not so difficult) challanges, the more people flying these things the better - give us more targets = more kills (if they haven't crashed before we get to them first) :0)

Jets do NOT spawn while you have cops turned blind eye.
