I think people need to start using their ignore preferences. This sort of bickering takes at least two parties to continue. Both will be handed up to the moderators to be dealt with if this derails a thread.

Most people are sh*t at flying and only end up using the missiles since they lack skill. I've never been killed by someone in a jet since they never attack from above so it's easy to shoot at them with the heavy sniper. I'm happy about this though since I can do dog fights with people in free roam and end up making them waste $5000.

I always win the jet deathmatch above Ft Zancudo because everybody is busy trying to get the missile lock on to me while i blow them up using the cannons.

Three players were desperately trying to kill with jets while I stood in the middle of an open hill. Minigun'd each one as they flew by using missiles and eventually they took each other out.

I've been shot out of a Buzzard, an Annihilator - but never a jet, I am never going in a straight line for long when anywhere near other players on the ground or on Maze Bank (or whatever building) so am not that easy a target to snipe.

 

The only time I die is if I crash, or occasionally if there is someone else flying a jet who is better or luckier than me (not inc. A.I. pilot) :0)

 

The A.I. pilot gets me more time than I can get him, as he has 'special' aiming/firing skills that humans don't - he doesn't show on the radar - and seems almost invulnerable to mini-gun fire (I have tried it might have been out of range though)...

It's so easy to get the Jet anyway though, this changes nothing.

 

I really don't know why people go on about the Jet being so useful for trolling anyway, it's a tin can. What rank do you unlock the sniper rifle, like 22? Anyone with a sniper can easily take down a jet. Just keep shooting the tail if you can't directly hit the pilot and they go down pretty fast.
