The Art of Stealing Fighter Jets will be lost forever now. The new addition of "Cops Turn Blind" will allow loosers and trolls to get their hold on the jets and that will spoil the whole gameplay. Before the update we had an upper hand cause we all were quite good at getting our hands on the lazer from the Ft Zancudo in only one try.

 

But now, Looks like people will keep hammering the cops turn blind button and keep stealing jets and dont you be suprised cause sooner or later all you will see is jets in free roam and public lobbies. IMO i wish they would have kept it till 5 minutes rather than 3 minutes. 5000$ for 3 minutes is too costly and useless...

I never found it difficult, and i dont really feel like paying $5000 for a jet each time i found it dumb waste of money just to try to get a jet

if u cant steal a jet without having the cops look away, the chances are u cant fly a jet anyways and will just result in seeing a bunch of nubs crashing all over LS

Yep indeed.

 

How many times have people been killed by a jet anyway? They don't lock on to payers. I actually enjoy seeing them fly in the air.

By that i meant lot of jets. Like everyone will be flying a jet.

Jets do NOT spawn while you have cops turned blind eye.

 

Jets DO spawn while cops turn a blind eye is on. I tried it myself and i can confirm that 100%.

My point is, though I may have been silly in getting myself killed by my own heli, that was 2 Lazers inside 20 seconds of being over the fence. Fly straight up, start spinning and looping for a minute to shake off any heatseekers and you're golden.

 

Do the people having issues with getting this done have eyes and thumbs?

It's hard until you work out a method that works for you.

 

After that it's just a hassle to get to Zancudo - they might as well just hand you a jet they're that easy to steal.

I did something just as dumb last time I tried.

 

Having a gun equipped is probably a good start if you want to shoot the guards near the jets. Swinging my fist through the air in their general direction didn't accomplish much :sui:

IF stealing jets becomes the new 'tanking', it probably won't last - those people who haven't been able to steal one before won't have much in the way of piloting skills, and obviously these are the fastest vehicles in the game (non-glitched vehicles obviously).

 

They have no missile lock-on for players on the ground, so it requires a bit of skill/planning to be able to actually hit people driving around on street, what with the speed of the aircraft and buildings/obstacles/etc. using the cannon is sometimes better.

 

Unless the player is daft enough to be driving down a nice long/wide stretch of road, it isn't all that easy to line up a shot.

 

Once someone steals one, the soldiers become more vigilant - so the next time someone goes up there (or the time after that) there will be tanks driving around/and or the damn AI pilot - so they would need to pay the $5k to enable them to get into and out of the base with the jet.

 

Once out of the base, that AI pilot can be quite sneaky - most non-experienced fighter-jet pilots won't last 2 minutes in the air.

 

A tank only costs $200 if you own one already, so will people be paying $5k to get a jet each time?

 

So, I don't think if this does become popular tonight that it will last.

 

Let's see if it does, and if 'noobs' are still doing this on Sunday!

 

I don't mind if they do, it will give us more experienced pilots more targets to aim for :0)

lol what you fly a crop duster? Flying a Jet is easy all you should know is how to evade those guys.
