I never understand why dumba$$es complain about missions like rr or coveted if you don't like them stfu and don't do them!

It's because so many more f*cking dumbasses keep spamming those missions so those looking to join a Contact Mission via phone always get put into those boring ass grinds. I don't need money, I definitely don't need RP, I just want to do some various missions for fun. I don't even care what they are and I don't mind RR/Coveted once in awhile, I just don't want to do the same thing over and over.

 

I can't speak for everyone, but when I grind, it's in a private, closed session. No invites sent because that takes extra time, which is counter to the purpose. Why would people grind and spend time waiting for invites?

 

Because, like I said...they're f*cking dumbasses (or can't do them solo). Just turn off matchmaking for f*ck's sake.

Only 1 out of every 10 times I play either of those jobs do the people playing actually vote for a different job instead of going straight back to free roam.

The worst are the ones who kick you from the job lobby, "Who's Black Rabbit?! How'd he join? Kick him"...'tards.

That sounds annoying. I only quickjob into races, so never have that problem. It sounds like you're stuck trying to host, and hoping people join. We need a plague to wipe out the f*cking dumbasses.

At the end of the day, people only complain about others grinding RR and Coverted or any of the high paying missions because they simply want to feel superior. Its hard to feel superior when other have more cash than you and you don't have the patience to do these missions for the same reward.

Why the hell if it doesn't affect your game do you feel you have the right to ask for things to be removed that others utilize and dare I say ENJOY using?

Its absurd that anybody would want content removed from this game. Like has been said, if you don't like them then don't do them, it's really that simple, and if you're too damn lazy to start your own missions then this lessens your entitlement to complain even more.

The opposite of this would be for me to say get rid of quick join, which would be equally as stupid and selfish as those requesting RR and the like to be removed.

Seems 90% of the problem here is that players are too damn lazy to culture their own game experience and heavily rely on what others are already doing, which of course is often contrary to what they desire. Then this sense of entitlement comes over them leading them to believe that their gaming time is more important than others.

FK off and play your own game your way and let everybody else do the same. The only thing we ALL should be united against is the damaging modders and hackers who actually ruin our experience.

If you could get over your self-aggrandizement and read the thread, you would've seen the reason why RR (and to a lesser extent Coveted) have essentially ruined the game.

I don't want to feel superior, I want to use a function that Rockstar placed into the game that will join me with some random people to complete random missions, hopefully finding some nice players to continue to move forward with. Except, with RR/Coveted, the function has turned into a system that places you in one of those two jobs 80% (or more) of the time. The players don't move forward, they're stuck in a Groundhog's Day mentality....just doing the same mission, hit Freeroam as quick as possible, just to do the mission again. I don't even know why they need so much money, but that's not my story and I don't care. Who is saying others have more money than me? I've got plenty more money than I need. I am patient, but playing RR 6 times just to play American Exports (or anything else) once just isn't as fun as the Quick Contact Mission option should be.

 

I just wish Rockstar could implament some sort of checklist that you can go to and tell it "don't join these missions when doing Quick Jobs". But, they won't, people will continue to do only RR until it gets nerfed and then everyone will complain and moan until they find another 'easiest' way to get cash and RP. It was happening with racing for awhile with nothing but CR and DtD but thankfully that hardly happens anymore. I'd rather play a sh*tty user created map that run Down the Drain again.

There is an easy way to avoid landing in RR/Coveted missions over and over; host the missions you'd like to play. 100% chance you won't play anything but the missions you enjoy. It is the stupidest thing to complain about when you have a way to avoid it. Given how many people whine about this "issue" on this forum you should have no trouble filling the lobby for any missions you host that are not RR/Coveted.

This is exactly what I do. I can't understand why people go out of their way to slow things down waiting to fill groups for these missions. When I want to play with a group/friends its not to grind easy solo missions.

Only reason I actually tolerate Rooftop Rumble is because I find the mission to be fun, only because of the drive to Madrazo's.

 

Coveted isn't fun at all, and since everyone and their mother under level 75 spams that crap, it was getting really annoying. Join Contact Mission really was just Join Coveted or Rooftop Rumble.

It's like you think that Rockstar's matchmaking actually works.

 

I host an open lobby playing Chopper Tail

1,000 others host lobbies hosting RR or Coveted.

 

1,000:1 odds that Quick Job Contact Mission folks are going to be placed into my lobby over the others.

Ive never even played Coveted...and only run RR three times. Played since day one, no hacks, lvl 346 plus a second character at 103. No idea why people grind.

I'm glad I'm level 120 (thanks to the business update weekend I created a race which payed 4500 RP and only took 30 seconds to complete)...

 

Now I don't get f*cked by Rockstar anymore!

Yes, during the 1.5xRP weekend, those fast races were paying 4500 for high ranked players. The normally (and still) pay 3000 RP for high rank (~100) and proportionately less for lower ranks, but still pretty darn good. I farmed the RP Solo or RP Drag x 10 playlist (PSN) during the weekend event and leveled up like 70 levels, it was great. And the cash payouts are still darn good, $19K for 10 short races (was $38K over that weekend).

 

Bottom line is that I also suggest doing these short, 25-waypoint drag races solo, to level up RP and make money. Better than missions with randoms - less time required, and no failed missions. I hope 1.12 does not nerf the RP on these races.

I'm their customer as well and I (along with many others) are absolutely tired of having to play RR/Coveted. They are listening, just not to you. They have a million+ player base, everything they do can't make everyone happy all the time. This has made the game more desirable for me. Heists will make some people upset, hell, just the option of a capture mode creator has pissed off a lot of people for some silly reason.

Then, if I don't want to play that sh*t, I have to back out, go back to Quick Jobs, get RR again, repeat 4 times until something else finally shows up. Then there are the ones who leave it open, then kick people if they join because they're waiting for their friends. Basically just a bunch of lazy people ruining it for the majority (via removing the mission and via breaking the join contact mission option) of others, as usual for anything in life.

 

Sorry your back is broke, but nobody is going to miss you if you quit and it's been pointed out that nobody on the forum cares to hear people whine and say they're going to quit playing.

I play it alone.

So instead of removing match making or making an invite friends only option on a part of the game a lot of players love playing you think removing the mission and insulting all the players who play different to you is the way to go.

 

Many other players are lazy and I'm going to quit and nobody on the forum is going to care.........you nutter!

It was the only mission that was fun. You had to snipe, to fly the C-Bob, and everything. Its a hundred times more fun than boring RR, with a classic shootout & driving a car, how unique!

 

 

Fun? Really? The only fun part was sniping teh Cargobob. It's become every bit as boring and loathsome as Rooftop Rumble.
