Coveted grinding is 100% impossible

I know there's a few threads like this that are going around but they're all full of trolls.

 

I can 100% confirm that Coveted grinding is impossible now.

 

I just launched Coveted x6 and upon completing the first coveted mission, I got sent back to Freemode.

I tried this with Coveted x16 and T'was the same thing.

 

This thread is to CONFIRM that we can't grind coveted playlists anymore, and that it's not a rumor created by a troll

 

EDIT: Not 100% impossible, just really, really iffy. Whether the playlist works for you or not, is up to chance

So far, the mission is gone from the mission list, but the Playlists are still there. However, starting one generally ends by kicking you back to Freemode.

 

As a result, you can't get the mission unless you had/have a playlist, and you'll only get through one run.

I had so much fun with the Coveted x16 Playlist I had.... ordering a tank after everyone was killed in the first run and pick it up with the cargobob, had great fun with runs 2 ~ 16

Thing is there's no real reason for this except to stop players grinding money, most other missions don't have this mechanic in place. So since Rockstar aren't against grinding they ARE against grinding to make money, blatantly showing they're all about the Cashcard sales at the end of the day. Billions of dollars not quite enough for them, or apparently enough to spend money on having teams fixing the crashing/freezing problems rather than working on new ways to stop players earning money.

I've tested one of the 16x playlists myself and it's still working. At least two runs worked, wasn't about to grind now, but wasn't kicked out after first job.

This. CCO 2 and 3 too. I spent a lot of money (including some cash card money) on a buzzard partly to make cco3 a quick money alternative to coveted. There are still fun missions for me to do but still. The weird part is that not only does RR remain, its actually been put back on my jobs list without me doing anything to get it back - I haven't done it since it vanished, in fact it was never on my jobs list in the past.

 

Anyone who knows my posting history knows im a r* supporter, this just seems a really strange move.

That sucks they took it away from everyone's host jobs list, I like to do random missions with random players and just recently it's been Rooftop Rumble after f*cking Rooftop Rumble, sure the extra cash is nice but it gets reeeeealy boring and getting Coveted was a nice change, now it's going to be RR after RR after RR because everyone wants the money...

Good, nothing I hated more than joining a random and having it be a retarded 16x playlist. I like to break it up a little and rooftop Rumble is far better for grinding anyway because you get more rp.
