Big deal. The Lester ability doesn't prevent me from making your GTA life a living hell with the combination of my own tank and crew members in cars to run you over once you cry and escape to passive mode.

Yeah had assholes doing that last night when they got fed up trying to duck me claiming bountys. They were also using the wall glitches too and blowing up peoples cars including a friends car. I don't pull out a tank willy nilly.

Maybe for an easy jet from the military base.

Someone tried that but the jets don't spawn until after the time runs out

So now as you all know the "Cops Turn Blind Eye" option has been added and one can activate it by calling lester, "Cops will ignore any crimes you commit for a short period of time" This will be a Safe Haven for Tank Trollers as they can easily activate this and go on a tank griefing spree! I am on my way to the Fort Zancudo Base as we speak to test this new feature out!

 

So keep an eye out for those tank griefers from now.

 

3 minutes isn't long and $5000 a go isn't cheap. your concerns are largely unfounded however I would suggest learning how to avoid tanks or roll in invite only sessions.

Cops actually kill twankers a lot morw regularly than you think.

 

 

All these cops kamikazes cause quite a bit of tear n wear to the old tank. This should indeed be a celebration if you enjoy twanking.

Every time I see someone in tank they just give up and change sessions as soon as a cop shows up. This will change the game and now tankers will be a threat to players everywhere.

It seems to me that about half the time, when I see a twanker gone wild in a session splattering players right and left, there are no cops around. I never have figured out how they manage that.

 

Other times with tanks, the street is thick with cops, like an colony of ants trying to bring down an invading beetle.

Tanks are Rockstar's grand "FU" gesture to the GTA0 community. It's a clear sign of their contempt for their customers. Looks like they aren't going to go away.

Fight tanks with the cheap ways glitching if I you see a tank use wall breaches , god mod every f*cking exploit you could think of this is the way how to piss them off .

 

Actually most of tank wankers suck wich is true the game itself is made for casuals most of them can't drive a tank in battlefield or world of tanks because either way they suck or simply they won't last long so gta for them it's the only way they can get a good kdr scrubs always stay scrubs no matter what.

 

Plus there is no arguments tanks shouldn't be in the game it's grand theft auto not grand theft tanks but Rockstar always seem to please casual players

As much I hate the tank and people who drive I think it's fun to see the rage when you kill them using the under the bridge glitch it's just funny

• Spot tank, and go into passive mode
• Go to Tank spawn
• Appear off the radar, and creep on the f*cker.

hey we've all been there... when u leave ur garage and the garage door animation starts going and the car starts rolling aand there is that 2 seconds where it is moving by itself and u have no control and ur looking around all paranoid when u see the dots on the map and u forgot to check before exiting. we do it to enhance other people's gameplay. this guy rolls out, first he spots the cargo containers and is WTF then hes 'whats that on the top....' wtf a tank. wait. two tanks. okay maybe they dont see me. why are they turning my direction. f*ck I just cleaned my entity.

I quit out of some DMs this weekend cause the creators added one tank and miraculously they always knew where it was and what is the god damn point of being in a DM when you can't fight the tank. It's a waste of god damn time and I just keep making a list of created content to make sure and skip.

lol better. Go into passive mode - off the radar - let others destroy the twanker - follow him till he calls pegasus for a new tank - follow him to his new tank - passive mode off - kill him - get in his tank and blow sh*t up.

You were always able to nab a tank with a sniper rifle and some patience. No Bob needed. They come out to you with a little fishing.

I believe you're gonna need someone to get the 5 stars in the base to make the tank spawn for you They're not just driving around in there normally.

Good luck. Much Easier to just be lvl 70 and call for it or borrow someone else's tank.

There will be a lot more Lazer's flying around though, so look up.!!

This new feature is a godsend; now those unskilled in getting into the Merryweather base should be able to use it to get in with no issue and get a Lazer no probs, even with those pesky minigun wielding soldiers and insta spawning tanks around(!).

 

The Lazer makes mincemeat out of a tank, and anyone with decent skill flying one can easily own one. I saw a group of three players who were able to get jets in succession yesterday, and they kept getting new ones after theirs were blown up (mostly by crashing, but whatever). Really, why the drama? See a "twanker", go get a jet. It's not like you need to use Lester, right?
