How Did Someone Get Into My Garage & Kill Me?

I logged on, joined a session, spawned inside my apartment, went to my garage, and found...

 

Somebody I don't know/had never seen before, lurking in the corner and "paused." I approached them but it was too close to the exit so I was spawned outside. I went back inside and they were still there. Then they shot and killed me. I respawned on the other side of town.

 

I never received a request for them to enter my place. How did they get in? I thought weapons couldn't be used when inside interiors. How was he able to shoot me?

At least it's still fairly rare despite Doms efforts, I've only seen it twice.

i encountered the same thing. I was glitching a tank into my garage but did the weapons-in-garage glitch so I could avoid people trying to jack me. but when I spawned in the corner sure enough somebody came in from the apartment door to try to kill me. so I blasted him with the tank first.
