GTA Online Superhero DLC, Not Powers [Idea]

A superhero update will be awesome! With capes, masks, tights , boots, gloves, hoods, etc. lol. It won't use real superhero costumes or anything, because I know that's hard to come by, but I was thinking some costumes like the once in the character creattion of DC Universe: Online.

For the cars, since there's usually three and one special, I had some great ideas that would make this an awesome DLC. You can do a knock-off batmobile, just take off the symbols!

Another vehicle idea is Ghost Rider's Hell Cycle (Maybe lose the flames).

Green Hornet's Black Beauty, with green headlights and everything!! That would be awesome!! The guns might not work, but they sure will look sexy! Maybe the car should start off plain, then you can add exclusive (to this car only) green headlights, machine gun accessories, and missiles (Again, they won't actually work).

And for the special vehicle, I was thinking X-Men's Blackbird. It may not turn invisible, but it'll be the sexiest damn plane in the game!

This DLC may not be for everyone, but I wanted something to shake things up a bit, especially after all these sport/super car DLC. I want a car that looks sexy, that you can show off, but isn't a generic ferrari or lambo. This is that thing. Imagine driving around in the Batmobile posted above.

Any suggestions on different vehicles, feel free to post them. These are the best unique-yet-still-possible-to-be-in-GTA cars I could find.

Superheroes, Batman-esque vigilante justice hounds, and laughably eccentric Joker-esque villains are all SR territory, not GTA. I'd expect a porn star dlc before any kind of Superhero anything.

 

That being said, I'll give you credit for laying your idea out in a decent fashion, even though you're far from the first person to pitch this idea...

Pretty much what this dude said. The wackiest thing we have in the game at the moment are the masks, and I prefer it stays that way, since the silly masks like Pogo annoy me enough.

I do agree with what others have said, as this sounds a ton more like Saints Row. However, i think it would be cool to be able to dress as a superhero or atleast have the clothing options.

The costumes were a secondary thing, even though we've seen some pretty ridiculous masks and outfits already. I agree, this isn't Saints Row. I don't expect super powers or anything too ridiculous. All I wanted were some unique vehicles that looked cool and special, but weren't super cars.

 

The first thing that came to mind was the Bat-Mobile. It's sleek, it's sexy, maybe drop the fins off from the back, and it'll look like a supercar, except for it's unique turbine-looking front and body shape. It's perfectly plausible for the other vehicles to put into GTA too.

 

The Hell Cycle is just a chopper with a very sexy, detailed design all over the body, instead of just a plain old harley-esque bike.

 

The Black Beauty is just a 1965 Chrysler Imperial. Maybe we could lose the whole "guns and missiles" feature. However, we could still add body mods like bumpers and headlights to make it resemble the Black Beauty.

 

The X-Jet is just a blackbird jet, nothing new there, yet it looks incredible nice and sleek, I wouldn't mind taking off in that. Maybe what could make that unique is not only it's look, but it's speed. It could have an incredible high speed compared to other jets, but what it has in speed, it loses in maneuverability.

 

I could see something like this happening. I've seen this idea before as well, but they were all so irrational with people asking for things that would never come, like actual powers, cars with actual guns, etc. This is the most realistic I could come up with.

 

Also, I searched the forums for previous posts suggesting a super hero DLC and found none that went in depth or were plausible, so even though this idea has been presented before, I decided to present my idea of how a DLC should go and try to make the game more unique instead of jumping in the band wagon of military and police DLC.

THQ ruined the SR storyline by involving aliens, giving you super powers, and losing sight of what SR should be. What do you lose from a superhero DLC? Does it take away from the story? No. You don't want the outfits, don't buy them. Don't want the cars. No problem. It will have ZERO affect on gameplay to you, it will just make the experience better for people who have been requesting superhero DLC since the Christmas DLC was released. I'm not saying it will happen, I'm just taking what others have said that they wanted and making it plausible.

It'd be horribly out of place, as would a f***ing batmobile. A stock '65 Imperial is one thing, but that finned monstrosity?

 

And OP, I have you credit for a decent idea outline. You presented the idea well, but again, you're FAR from the first to pitch it. Cops and GTA work a lot better than superhero wannabes and GTA. Batman has no place in this world.

Saints Row has cornered the market in having superhero costumes in open-world crime games. What would be great for online is for the astronaut and alien suits to be available for purchase.

I find it ridiculous that people say GTA is too serious for this sort of thing when there's a penis or boob joke practicly everywhere you look in the game. The whole game is a parody, and not to mention all the dlc we got. A superhero costume is too much, but a santa/elf suit isn't? You can wear eyeliner and lipstick with your male character. Do I do it? No. Does it bother me if someone else does? No.

Whatever they add to the game in terms of vehicles and wardrobe is welcome, and does not hurt the overall experience.

Actually I am. I'm not legal age? At least I can punctuate my sentences. With all the superhero movies releasing I thought it would be a good idea to make an argument for a superhero DLC. Apparently only children like superheroes now and everyone here had no childhood.
