Report Feature Getting Abused?! My story

This has happened to me as well, man. As far as I'm concerned, I'm one of the cleanest players on GTA Online. I am almost always racing, let's face it, free-mode isn't that exciting.

 

I received a 2 day ban yesterday, for what, your guess is as good as mine. This "bad sport" idea is just complete bollocks and so open to abuse it's just unreal. Rockstar must've had their heads up their arses when they thought it up.

 

I've played "Down The Drain" a few times when other players have driven in the other direction trying to take me out. Maybe everybody should report everybody. At least that way, everybody would become "bad sports". Maybe then, Rockstar might finally realise what a really f**king stupid idea this was in the first place.

I joined a quick job race and got Down the Drain and 3 14 yr old with their Adders one has yellow one has red and the elusive Chrome one. They are in the same crew and a random Italian guy with his Turismo R

 

And my black and red Infernus roars up the race and dusted all of them at the start of the race (I'm really good at controlling the Infernus) and turbo started then the yellow Adder got surprised sh*t his life because i beat his precious faztezt Bugatti swag car and label me as a cheater

 

After the race they voted freemode so they can ambush me apparently failed so got in my Infernus again chased me in their hideous looking cars and they cant catch me due to my superior driving and they got mad and reported me due to my rank and skills

 

But the Italian guy helped reported them crew and they get dodgy player and suddenly the one with red Adder got bad sport

 

I fled the session to help from friends to commend me and remove my dodgy player and successfully got back to clean player

 

Now 2 days later (yesterday) I got challenged by a 2 guys with 40ish levels ambushed me with a Bifta but i minigunned them and fight began killed them 5 consecutive times then they passived and reported me and i reported their crew they got Dodgy i got bad sport now for 8 days

63 days? nice work op. I myself screw around too much to be that high in rank.

 

ps. don't judge someone based on how much they play a video game on a video game forum. you come off as a scrub, and no true gamer gives a sh*t about someone elses play time.

I figured the report function would get abused. Personally, I'm only for reporting players that are all about breaking the game, which can lead to massive lag and freezes. Any other reason to report someone just seems childish.

In a game that consists of so much killing ironically you get reported for it by some random who should be playing Happy Wars

my in-game time has been screwed up. it counts the time spent on characters that got deleted early on. when i got a new system the social club said my in-game time was only 8 days. the time spent on my last character i guess.

 

hope i dont get reported for being over level 135 with such little time spent online. just play the game instead of being in free roam all the time if you want to level up fast. like some of you guys have already said. if you out play some grade school kid that just got the game you will be reported. they will get every kid on the playground with the game to report you as well.

 

we caught a few of them trying to money glitch cars and they reported us. you cant report someone as a griefer because they wont let you cheat the game.

I think R* should cap the levels at 150, since nothing unlocks past 120 anyway, and have the RP you earn at level cap become GTA$. Then if they add new high level stuff for past 120+, just raise the cap and people will earn RP like normal till they hit that new cap. and so on and so forth

when you get bad sport be Quick to turn of your ps3 or Xbox form then shut of buttom, or by Cable, then it wont Count lol.

but it might make some damage on your ps3/xbox
