1) Using select menu, and hitting "Request personal vehicle" disables any timer, meaning no wait time for your vehicle.

2) Using select menu, and hitting "Highlight player", you can highlight as many players as you want, unlike when trying via your phone.

Cool, I didn't know about the first one. Looks like I won't be hearing good ol' Jonny on the spot's voice for a while

i've seen that if you use the select menu to highlight the highlight goes away, vs. the phone which stays.

the first point is great to use when some1 blows your car up.. call up mors, its @ the lot. request vehicle i'm back in my vehicle within 10 seconds

People didn't know this?...

i've found most people don't know alot of little ' secrets' of the game.

1 thing most ppl don't use is the highlight player. XXX has a bounty set on them.. quickly pull up select menu highlight player press X on xbox it highlights the player with a GPS route right to them.. its how i get muh bounties!

It sets a GPS route to the player??? PS3 does not do this. What if the player is moving 100 mph after shooting me in the back and running away like a little bitch? :colgate: Does the GPS follow him?

Ok here goes nothing:

press both sticks to do a jerk animation

Next press the left stick in to sneak and at the same time release and press both sticks in again and hold X on PS3 and i believe A on xbox..

Now you will be jerking and sneaking at the same time, for as long as you hold x/a.

it doesn't follow them, you have to keep pressing Square i guess for ps3, also my extra tip, when the distance between you and the person your chasing is < 1mi. go off radar, you'll be off their map ( w/o them expanding it ) and you'll be within distance to see where you need to go.

You can also call your mechanic after buying a new car and ask him to bring it to you without having to wait 5 minutes for it to appear in your garage.

I just sat there for 5 minutes trying to do this... it looked like I had it for a second, but most of the time it was just me standing there, looking like an idiot doing the jerk animation.

Did I just get trolled hard or is there something I'm missing

LOL it seems the timing is a bit hard, but its possible alright. Once you get the whole thing going, you'll be sneaking and jerking like there is no tomorrow.

I can try and make a vid tomorrow to show it.

Holding the A button on Xbox while airborne in a car allows you to do a flat spin as opposed to a roll.

isn't #2

#2 but the highlight doesn't stick does it? I use the phone cause it stays highlighted until either you or the blinker leaves the lobby. Where as I think the menu way eventually loses the highlight.

Two helpful tips...

1)pressing the eject button on your console would eject the game from your console.

2)pressing the power button would turn on/off your console!

Interesting, thanks for the tip. Didn't know you could do it through the phone. The select button way is worthless because it randomly quits and always quits when the target died. The whole system is pretty worthless anyway because whenever people kill someone they blink do in lobbies with lots of people killing each other everyone is blinking. I always put a 1000 bounty to mark them but the bastards had to set a time limit of an hour or whatever before you can set another bounty on the same player so now that's worthless as well. Another tip is that during missions when you are in a mission instead of pausing the game and setting the gps you can use the quick gps. And it is easier to chase moving targets that you cant see on the expanded map because you keep pressing select/back then X/A all without slowing down

This works outside of missions as well. This is one of the reasons I find single player almost unplayable. Hate having to pause to set a marker

At least single player you are safe when it pauses, when you press start in multiplayer you are blind vulnerable to attack.
