We seriously need a "Car customization" DLC

Since R* is redeeming themselves after making us wait so long for heists and the possibility to own more than one property, it would be nice for us if they release a big dlc with tons of mods for our cars.

 

I understand that regular cars can't be modified that much. (some don't even have one customization option besides of the ones that every car has). But sports and super cars definitely should have way more customization options, after some time playing it gets boring to see always the same type of cars.

 

Some of the things that would really make cars a lot better when it comes to visuals it'd be in my opinion

 

Window tint. (I'm not saying that Limo tint it's bad, but some colours would help)

 

 

Neon Light kits. This would be a sweet mod for LS night, and the cars will look a lot more pimp with this lights on them. ( )

 

 

 

Of course, some car vinyls! cars look really flat without them.. I can already imagine a nice lowrider with some flames on the sides.. and also those stickers that racers put on the car windows.

 

And some nice bodykits would be cool too.. actually it feels like GTA has a lack of customization options in cars.

 

Of course that some performance changing mods would kick-ass too, but I don't think that Ps3 could support cars go any faster, lol.

 

I hope this will come out one day.

Definitely yes, but this is a totally do-able thing on this console generation, and I guess that it's one of the most important things in the game since we all love cars.

Neons, vinyl decals, and a whole bunch of import tuner-style cars (still holding out for a Supra-pastiche, like the GTA:SA Jester), plus weapons like wrenches and tire irons.


Definitely agree, though, OP - it'd be awesome to add to the game. Right now, my tricked-out Elegy/Sultan/Surano look a little plain without all the extra bells and whistles...

Yeah, a port over to PS4 and Xbox One (current gen) would be a massive upgrade to a game of this scale. It would allow for all kinds of better (more SA like) customization options, along with more areas and.. really just more everything. Till then I highly doubt they'll do much of anything with the current LSC options, much as I'd love to be able to do more.

If a Spanish teenager f*ck could mod a vehicle to make it have real hydraulics like in San Andreas, I see how R* weren't f*cking able to give us this:

 

 

 

Also check his other heavy modded videos, you'll be amazed on how much sh*t can be done, specially online, and we still wonder what f*cking sh*t causes our consoles to freeze.

Wouldn't mind these. Not sure I'd use them but it sure would make tracking others who are using them a lot easier. Already easier with the blue headlights, this would just make it simple to follow someone at night.

Except for the fact that R* actually have to make sure it works without any issues unlike this guy and also the car just bounces around even when he gets out of the car that's not hydraulics... that's just a car bouncing around.

It's amazing how so much things can be done by some guys with a lot of free time, and R* that should be 24/7 trying to add new fun content never give us something like that. I mean, come on, the valentine's day DLC was BS, and the business pack was crap as well.

Yea the vanilla customization is piss poor. All we really get to do is change the car color and rims/wheels.
