You can drag race with any NPC at a stop light.

If you pull up next to an NPC at a red light and spin your wheels, they will take off as soon as the light turns green, speed past other cars, drift around corners, etc.

 

I think it only works with male NPCs, but it's pretty cool. Sorry if this is old news.

You can also rev your engine and they'll do the same. I always thought they got scared or something but nice to know they actually wanted to drag race lol

I'm shocked that very few people know about this lol, I knew this since day one but it's always nice to see people discovering the little details R* put in the game.

an easier way to make them go crazy is to just fire a shot in the air. then you can chase them. use the roof cam view and try to pit them and sh*t, it's fun

I usually hold x abd rev the engine when its neutral. they start getting into it with you revvibg and stuff before the light turns green.

Sometimes you can get them to race. They will even burn their tires too. If they just speed off continuously tho, they are scared they are not racing you.

 

I'm always messing with NPC's. Especially when they flip me off and insult me just for driving fast. Bastards...
