Pegasus reclaims cars now?

I stole a tank from a twanker in the pause menu. After spawn killing him he raged and left. Then I got this meesage

 

"Pegasus are reclaiming this vehicle"

I got kicked out

When was this implemented

I think it only kicks you out when the player leaves. I got my buzzard stolen many times and killed with it. I wish you could kick people from your Pegasus vehicle.

My friend let me ride in his tank the other night, but when he went out to play RR it kicked me out and gave me the same message.. but the tank stayed there....people kept trying to get in it but it would kick them right out.

Actually I type on my phone with auto correct off so I use shorter easier words like car instead of vehicle. I also misspell. I usually proofread but sometimes I miss

Its been like that since the beginning... It also happens when you go into the LSC while someone's in your pegasus vehicle, and vice versa.

I believe this was implemented with the most recent 1.11 update. I noticed it when I was on a building trying to snipe tanks (I didn't realize it was patched and only though my aim was really bad) and I saw an unattended tank so I went to get it to pick it up with a Cargobob and put it on a random building but it told me I couldn't enter it. The disappointment.

Not when someone leaves, I let my best friend have my Tank so he could go on a rampage too (Surprisingly he didn't try to kill me, knowing how he is), I then died after my Cargobob blew up trying to pick him up from the Vepucci Police Station, then he told me it kicked me out

Or it was from when he blew up me (As a joke, or accidently) then my game froze, (I could still talk to him) and it kicked him out, I think, I kind of forgot

Or if the notification appears as a text message from Pegasus themselves:

Happened to me once, I think the helicopter just stalled.

Yeah its happened to me before too, I called my Tank, and got a message saying they were unable to get it for me. But there was still a tank at the location so I got in. Must have been someone else's Tank since it kicked me out saying they were reclaiming it. That would suck to have to happen to someone using a Titan while low to the ground. That plane takes a few to get out of lol

You can still dupe them, you just have to have the person you are duping it to stand outside of the vehicle, and not be inside, once you go inside LSC, it will tell you it has been put back into storage, you leave LSC and there is a tank there. Just did this the other day.

Hmmm. I was doing this with the vestra for like three players last week without issue, other than pegasus not delivering the freakin thing.

Simple solution to the buzzard being stolen problem is to place a sticky bomb in a discreet location on it.. as long as you don't get killed while it's being stolen, you can detonate from a safe distance...

I always get confused with the detonate button and the change-radio-station button. You have no idea how many times I blew my car up this way...

This has been in place since launch. When you leave a session, your vehicle ie. personal, Pegasus, gets locked and no one has access to it.

You can and i've done it before....

 

All you have to do is go to the Playstation/XBOX Store and it'll kick em out.

Even when you come back into the session only YOU can get back into it, It'll stay locked for them.

 

Or grab a car head over to LSC and drive right back out and ring up another one and go get the prick who just stole your tank or buzzard.

 

I like to do this if they happen to steal it from me and sadly people can dupe tanks by doing this.

 

I was in a session where i saw a group of players all but one were ranked under 40 and the other guy was 72 so he was duping his tank for all his buddies.

 

I haven't checked but i hope they patched this

Yeah but sometimes, They get to it before you do so you don't have a chance to stickie it

I have been kicked out of a buzzard mid mission before when my friend left. It cut power and i crash landed and was kicked out of the chopper. I got the same message.
