Is it still possible to tint the windows on the Banshee?

I seen a thread months ago,can't find it but some guy showed how you can add a lot of mods to a car without save file editors and made the windows tinted on the Banshee. In the same video the guy also showed how you can add certain other mods to the car like a hood..so I was wondering if I could add the Sultan's vent hood to the Stratum to make it look like the WRX wagon?

It won't make you get banned, thats all out bullsh*t at its finnest. The moment you glitch it into online, it turns into an NPC car. Untrackable if its imported from SP or not.

pretty sure you cant swap hoods, I can't put a voodoo hood on my comet... so yah

Yeah, there was a video a few months ago that allowed you to do this as LSC and edit one of those Dune Buggy things

Car part swaps cannot happen normally and they dont stick. The banshee has 3 hood options

Stock

Carbon

Vented

It is possible to hex edit car parts on another car but they dont stick in online

OP, if you happen to click "show anyway" here is the answer:

 

No, the "all options in LSC glitch" that you saw with the dunebuggy was patched. The only way to tint the windows on the Banshee is to have someone bring one in from SP and for you to glitch it into your garage. Of course, this will result in you taking your imaginary risk of getting banned, but it is the only way.

 

On the other subject, swapping the car parts like that isn't a normal thing that will happen, requires HEX editing and it does not stick.

 

You're not going to get banned, cheater pooled, or anything like that. Just enjoy your game and go request one from the duping thread. Heck, I'll just dupe you mine if you want.

Yea i did that a bunch of times...but it never allowed you put ANY car part on ANY car....only opens up more already existing but unavailable options. Wheels/tires are universal parts for nearly all cars, but for whatever reason cant be changed on the db to already existing options. Same w adding turbo, trans, engine, etc to a car w a transmission w gears. They all boost stats and behave in the same way, regardless of vehicle. Same w paint, horn etc

 

But a hoods, skirts, wheelie bars, etc are extremely likely to be car specific, meaning they are modeled to fit the cars individual curves and contours. No odd angles, cracks, gaps, overlaps, etc. Meaning no wheelie bars on bikes, no carbon roofs on convertibles or vans, no crazy ruiner exhaust for the adder, etc etc.

 

It also did not allow the modification of tube bumpers on the granger, or make a a convertible banshee into a hard top ver, or swapping from clean/rusty rebel, or changing rebel bumpers and roll bar....etc etc. For some reason some cant be changed, or even choosen, even tho they are clearly around, driving thru the streets.

 

Since their likely isnt a hood modeled specifically for the stratum, it likely isnt possible to glitch on.

 

Also last i heard it got patched, but could still be done, but youd need to download a lag switch onto your pc. Which i had very lil success w, too many failed attempts, too much time to make it worthwhile.

 

But regularly tinting a banshees windows should be possible (not sure if its 'normally' an option in lsc already). Might come out weird tho, i tinted a bf injection's windows and only the tiny round one was tinted.....but maybe cause thats the only glass on the car???

 

Anyways, all that was from while back, if it even makes sense, just recently got back into gtao, so any info may be out of date. Heres a link i still have, and some pics of what i created. Dunebuggy and injection were super beastly, 100% performance mods, the buggy won me a bunch of races, and the injection look class.

Edit: bookmarked link is dead link, i forgot a while back someone a the brilliant idea to try to move ALL the glitches into ONE thread...wtf......irritating. But ive got to tear myself away from the comp for a bit, but check out these series of posts to see if it can even still be done.

OMG almost forgot about this creation, obviously didnt make this w the that lsc trick. Yes, im still upset it was taken away, it didnt do no body no harm....
