I'm selfish when I play RR with low levels. and you?

Whenever I'm playing RR with low levels (1-40 aprox.) I tend to act selfish, I don't know who else does this, but I ALWAYS, grab the documments, and never let those guys get'em. it's only because I think they may not know the fastest way to get to Martin's, or that the Grangers will f*ck'em up.

 

When I play Rooftop Rumble, it's not for fun generally, I do it when I need money, or RP. At least the low level guys get some easy money (they don't even have to shoot too much) and 4k of RP.

 

What about you guys? how do you proceed when playing RR with lower levels?

I let them take it. At level 185, I don't care much for RP and money. I take my sweet time.

If i'm hosting for low-levels, I practically do all the work. Because typically if I leave it to them, they make a mess of it. That's my experience, anyway.

I've stopped inviting randoms as too many of them are bloody stupid. I've been ran over and killed just because I had the document, or the tires shot out when I wasn't using my PV.

 

It's quicker to do it by myself.

I wouldn't say i'm greedy, I just dont trust people to do the job right. So i always try to get the case as i know i will make sure it gets there. I've played a few times where idiots will destroy the case or try to run me over for no reason so I try to get in and out as fast as i can.

If they're going to deliver it, have at it, less for me to do. However, a few times people have grabbed it then gone off the grid and ended up driving around the airport.

 

In reality, it's a lot like a real life job. Must have X years experience to apply, but you can't get experience without that job. So, while it makes things easier on you, you're not helping them by not letting them do it. Teach a man to fish, brah.

They usually have chrome adders... so while they are shooting the dudes I blow their adders right before they push the action button.

 

If I'm really lucky they get the documents and leave... then the gascan comes out.

When I play RR, it's because I went to Quick Contact Mission from phone, so if I run into someone like you who is all gung-ho about getting the document before everyone, I just let you/them do it and go and get some chores done while I wait for my money. I don't really even pay attention to what level others are.

The only thing I dont like about low level players is when they blow up the heli I just spent a grand on which is quite often suprisingly, especially among randoms.

Anyway, there are high levels who are idiots too, they recently got their new RPG launcher, and they use it for every mission. As soon as RR starts, they pull out their RPG, and start shooting inside the parking lot, 80% of the time, the case gets destroyed by this guys.

Uhm… than why are u playing with randoms at all?

Last night i got an random invite for RR 3 guys + me… The host around 90+, someone around 40 and someone (156) near my rank 170.

 

All 3 went in the garage from the front… i took my car and went to the backside entrance waiting for whoever graped the case… honking around

He (the host 90+) runs out, didn't care to enter, ran to the street and took out his granate-launcher waiting for the first 2-3 SUVs… me? still honking : I

After he destroyed the SUVs he ran over to his own car… and drove away leaving us behind.

 

Didn't get why he invited 3 other random player for just ignoring them afterwards

If they look like they are clueless at the start of the mission I'll take over and do it myself. If higher level players I'll go use the restroom or grab a drink.

I'm so anal about that mission I practically only do it solo. You can kill 22 NPCs at the outset from 2 different positions, leaving only the guy hiding behnd the Granger at the bottom right, who I run over, and the dude landing the chopper. It drives me bonkers when people screw up the npc placements, or just run down there to die and throw everything off.

That's a good way to proceed, I do the same when it comes to higher levels, let them play and I go for a drink or use the restroom, most of them do the mission in 3 mins anyway, so I don't think they care.

Yes, I like to think of it this way.. they earn $18k and 4k of RP without shooting a single bullet, and I get the satisfaction of knowing that the mission will not end with the case destroyed.

I never play Rooftop Rumble with randoms. Either solo or with friends. I have my own way of doing it and people just tend to get in the way.

I find that everyone has to do everything in this mission. It is hugely frustrating when some idiot opens fire as soon as they spawn causing everyone else to get shot to pieces as they are either going to their car or trying to get in position. In this eventuality, I'll destroy the documents on purpose. Why? Becasue I can, I hate this mission and I hate the asshats who ruin it for everyone else even more.

 

In missions, if I am the first to the objective, I'll wait for everyone to catch-up that way everyone gets a go at doing something and feels involved. Any mission with a Rambo, I'll do what I can to screw it as these types just really annoy the crap out of me.

I always park my Buzzard on the roof. It spawns right around the corner, so getting it is no problem. Then I go down the stairs, take out the people, snag the case, then go back up the stairs to the roof. My chopper is safely airborne by the time the first car arrives, and it makes the trip to Martin's much faster. All in all, it is a much cleaner way to do it.

 

As for the lower levels, I take the case, but give them the chance to follow me to the roof for a lift out of there, if they do not, well, they can fend for themselves. They can't cry to me when they get killed by the arriving FIB when I gave them an easy way out.

Yeah, well, in this case you're the one who's ruining it for everybody else. It's kinda fcked up that you destroy the documents on purpose just because everybody it's not doing the mission the way you want to.
