San Fierro, Las Venturas re imaginings

Whoot it has been a long time. Anyhow, one thing that the majority of gta fans seem to be upset with gta 5 is the absence of San Fierro and Las Venturas. I've seen this as nothing but whine. Especially since the new Los Santos dwarfs 3D state of San Andreas. The topic however is more of a free for all what if? This scenario would really be a cheap shot by R*, but fun regardless. What if a new title were released and were to take place in a much more fleshed out Las Venturas, or San Fierro? What would these cities be like in order to emulate their real life counterparts?

I think it's been enough bitching about SF & LV. At least, don't bring up this theme back before idiots see...

I loved San Fierro in SA. I hope that it will return some day.

I would prefer San Fierro over Vice City for GTA VI, in my opinion San Francisco has a lot more to offer than Miami.

I would rather have the whole Bay area than just San Fierro...

The 415 to the 650, 510 to 408 would look crazy on RAGE engine

This is pretty interesting... Probably just a coincidence? lol

To San Fierro we shall go ...

Not sure but could really be an easter egg for the location of GTA VI, but then again there's this DJ who said LC is next, not sure. I'd like both!

I disagree. I think Miami would be AMAZING on the next-gen hardware R* have to work with. Just think off the docks, beaches, swamps, islands, skyscrappers, blimps, airports, etc.. that could be done with Miami? And the city overall suits crime if you ask me, if that even makes any sense. SF feels too generic if you ask me, almost like Los Santos.

Imagine if Rockstar went back to the 80's in Vice City but on the new consoles? Planes would be have purpose finally in Vice City! I agree too about the swamps. A Rockstar spoof on the Everglades would be awesome!

Of course SF has more to offer than Miami, just imagine only the landscape. Miami is only a beach and flatland. In fact nothing else. However I would prefer Miami with the beach promenade and all that. Even though it s actually worse.

Have you ever been to Miami? I live in Coral Gables here in Miami. You just made a false statement. There is way more to offer than San Francisco. Beaches and flatlands? That made me laugh. Visit Miami than come back to comment...

Nevermind...myou're not from the USA. Don't comment... lol

I'd be happy with either tbh.

The luscious land of both cities would look great, especially with Miami and the beach front. I'd also love to hovercraft over the everglades, blast some crocs and sh*t. SF would both look and be beautiful, though honestly I think a combination of those areas would be sweet. You really need the countryside to offset the cities in games like gta

What the hell are you talking about? San Francisco has an architecture that´s very unique. Miami feels more like LS IMO.Miami is basically the latino and beach culture of LA mixed with Art Deco architecture, and the swamps. (Would still like a new VC, though).

San Fierro was my favorite city of GTA SA, I hope SF and LV will get their HD remake sometime, but I don't think they'll appear on GTA VI. It's Vice City's turn to come back in HD.

They need to have a completely new location. It's time for GTA to leave the past in the past.

The problem that I have with a HD San Fierro is that Driver got in first.

I know you couldn't walk around in Driver San Francisco but the architecture and the map was impressive.

To me, GTA SF would feel like a copy.

Cultures isn't what I'm talking about. The city is pretty much the same as LA, except with some new houses and hills. Miami is by far much more unique, with islands, beaches, docks, swamps, etc.. It's much more vibrant and its by far a more interesting city. SF is way too dull.

I believe that Las Venturas could be real again in GTA5 next generation PS4 PC World. Feelings.

Maybe because Rockstar rushed it... it was the lowest detailed city in the 3D era... they didnt do the Piers/Beaches right, plus they removed Alcatraz and they f*cked up half the city

I'd love Las Vegas. (Or Venturas, rather.)

I desperately longed for a version of Palm Springs in V. It's okay that it didn't happen, I still love the game, but they need to do a desert city like PS or LV.

SF is very different than LA have you been to SF?

San Fierro should be redone because it was made terribly compared to its real life counter part.

What I would have liked is if while they kept the desert, they still made the map more realistic by reimagining the whole San Andreas from GTA San Andreas instead of just Southern California. It's a weird way to put it, but I think that while the detail of GTA V's map was beautiful, it ran into the biggest problem of seeming like a 50/50 island. City and desert towns. There weren't really any interesting small towns either. I know it would have cost them a lot, LOT, more, but perhaps adding San Fierro as a flyaway location and making Las Venturas a big part of the desert would have really fixed this. Or just save San Fierro for GTA VI. I know that everyone imagines GTA VI to be Vice City (hence thinking of it as GTA VICE if they were gonna nickname it) and while I'd love to see Vice City again, I think maybe Rockstar needs to explore more areas they haven't covered as well before.

Non Funkable Token

All the 3 cities have interesting stuff to offer if Rockstar works in that.

A current VC could work smoothly, IMO. It's not the 80s but crime doesn't rest.
