Rooftop Rumple gone full retard, again.

The past few times the mission now has failed for me and my team.

These errors happend:

 

Rival delivered, mission failed

A professional was killed, mission failed

Friendly killed, mission failed

The briefcase never dropped so everyone had to suicide.

Again Rival delivered mission failed

Another time half my team got killed the moment the mission started and twice the amount of professionals spawned and we all got killed.

 

And last but not least, My console froze just before delivering the briefcase.

 

What the hell is going on?

Rival delivered is the fail message you get when you skip the first objective (enroute to delivering the briefcase).

 

A professional has been killed, occurs when you destroy the briefcase.

 

As for the others, not encountered them so I dunno.

But the briefcase was fine, we didn't even use explosives. It was like one big acid trip gone wrong.

I just hate how the suitcase is now a brick untill every last gang member is dead, before I could kill a few near the car, grab it and haul ass out of there to save ammo and money

I have had the freezing problem before right when i was like 10 feet away from martians house just about to finish the mission not gunna lie i was kind of pissed off for about 5 mins, then i smoked a joint and played it again.

It's possible, a little tricky to replicate though to be sure.

 

I only seem to run into these sporadically now, just the occasional random that can't follow Go to Parking Lot -> Kill Professionals -> Get Briefcase -> Go to Martin's, that muck it up

I get the professional has been killed mesage all the time. I think it has to do with me constantly destroying the briefcase.

 

Rooftop Rumble is only good for trolling unless you do it solo.

Accidentally destroyed the briefcase this morning, but that wasn't instant mission fail - it was only after I took out the mercs that it said mission fail.

Yeah I noticed that too. Either the suitcase becomes impossible to pickup, or kill all the professionals and get " a professional has been killed." Um like duhhh isn't that SUPPOSED to happen? Lol

What kills me is that you dont even need to go that close to the yellow dot...just fly by it in your car and you're clear.

Just solo Coveted, the only glitch I've encountered on that is where the cargobob glitches with the container and gets flung up into the air, but that usually works to your advantage anyway

I did that too - I RPG'd the garage thinking the briefcase didn't appear until I'd killed everyone, so it couldn't be destroyed. Unfortunately the chap I was doing it with had already been killed and re-spawned, and I died in the RPG blast, so he didn't seem to notice that the briefcase had been destroyed. I felt quite guilty watching him finishing everyone off as a spectator...

I find this weird because I never had any problems with RR. It wasn't even removed from the jobs list from the pause menu. I don't really play the mission at all thought so maybe I don't play it enough to experience the glitches.

Well, this is Rockstar. They can never do anything right. Instead of them fixing the game they touch things that don't need touching and some people said they made Rooftop Rumble harder. The question is, "why"? I know they tampered with Satallete Communications. When we get in the truck and drive through the games, The Lost used to spawn at the top of the mountain and now they spawn at the bottom as soon as we drive on the main road and we get shot badly through the windscreen. It;s said when game makers open a program they can accidently cause bug elsewhere in a game and while Rockstar are touching things that don't need to be touched, they could be causing more bugs in the game and there's enough of that as it is. They should fix the game instead of making it worse. This is why Castle Miner got so glitchey, Indie Games kept changing stuff and they made it worse and worse. I wonder what else Rockstar will change in GTA V that doesn't need changing.

We had an issue when the player who had the case crashed into the Binco clothes store while trying to go to Medrazo's house, and the case and his car was stuck INSIDE the store. We had to kill ourselves (which is a challenge itself) and start over.

Just so you know 'objective one' is goto the parking lot, if the yellow marker is still active when the briefcase is picked up you will fail when you reach martins.

I've given up on RR. I can't get through it now without something weird happening. Last time I played it all the enemies were frozen and immortal.
