Starting your own business, Are ya?

With the announcement of two garages, I think it's possible that we could own our own business i can't remember if R* ever mentioned if that would be a DLC in the future but think it's possible since they are allowing us to own two garages so it's not out of the realm that in the future we'll be able to own business.

So if you could own any business that you could own in Story Mode, Then which one Online what would you own?

I think i would like to own the Downtown Cab Company or The Movie Studio

My first pick would be the Towing Company but i don't think that will ever happen.

What do you think would happen if/when we are able to own these businesses?

Will they just be like they are in Story mode, Where you a weekly payday of that week take or be called up to do certain jobs like with the Taxi Company you'd get calls to go and pick up another player who had called for a Taxi..

(If they do allow jobs like the Taxi, Hopefully R* will set it so as long as you are "on-duty" in the cab you can't be killed because you know the person who called the Taxi will either shoot the person before or after the job was completed)

So what business do you want to own?

*Remember they have to be businesses that you could own in story mode, Not any that you've made up*

This could've been a decent thread except for all the things listed yous guys listed aren't for sale in story mode.

?

Smoke on the Water, S.S. Airfield, Hookies, Ten Cent Theater, McKenzie Field, Tequi-La-La, Los Santos Golf Club and Sandy Shores LSC are all available to buy in SP. http://gta.wikia.com/Properties_in_GTA_V

There was that video a couple months ago with all the dialogue from Martin talking about business opportunities and that you would have to maintain them but I don't have the drive to go find it.

When Online businesses become available I think they will be similar but different to the SP ones. Instead of Vanilla Unicorn we could own Hornbills or the gay bar by downtown LSC, Bahama Mamas West instead of Tequi-la-la. LSC and airfields probably won't make the list as they are player interaction hotspots and could be perceived as providing the owner with an unfair advantage like heavy discounts or similar. Also, both rural airfields host gang attacks, what would become of those if we could own them?

Funny, my notifications said that my reply here got a bunch of "likes," yet for some odd reason, it doesn't exist anymore?

It was a sincere reply that was most certainly on topic. Just curious... what gives? <sigh>

And wait... there were "rules" for this thread and someone deleted my [legitimate] reply because I posed the idea of an in-game business, as well as a fictional one?

The fact that you edited that "rules" statement in, after the fact, proves that some of you people are just completely nutz!

S.S. and McKenzie airfields. Possibly the Strip Club, or the Cab Company.

Ganja helps provide both of those.

If you actually believe that, you've never smoked it on a long-term basis.

None seeing as it ain't gonna happen.

The idea of getting a legitimate job has been something that R* have advertised since release. Why wouldn't it happen?

Have they? I know you can do it in single player but didn't know about it in multi-player. Thought it was just wishful thinking and hype.

Don't ask. I posted a legitimate fictional business of plastic surgeon. God knows how many threads there have been about how my character looks like sh*t. Then they edit their post and add rules about the fictional business from story mode.

I would want to own the Casino, Country Club or Movie Studio. Gotta be... what's that phrase... clockin' dat pappa?
