Bravado Gauntlet...

I'm thinking about either getting the Bravado Gauntlet or Dominator but this question is soley about the Gauntlet

What is your take on it? Do you like it? Is it worth the money to buy/steal and mod up? How is it with races?

Any bad sides to it?

*i.e spins out to easy, suck at taking turns at a decent speed ect*

I'm thinking of adding this to my garage but i want to get the opinion of those people on what they think about it,

If you're getting one for racing then I'd say go for a Ruiner or Dominator. Some say that the Gauntlet is the most "planted" car in the muscle class but I think the slight oversteer of the Runier is better. Plus the front end can't make up it's mind Challenger or Camaro :panic:

Statistically the best muscle car in the game but just doesn't look the goods in my opinion.. I have a picador and and a Vigero, both are better looking cars IMO

I had both the Dominator and Gauntlet fully modded, and the Gauntlet spun out less and handled sharp turns better in races. Many say the Gauntlet is the best in its class, and I have to agree.

For racing, it's the best in it's class hands down.

Lookswise, that's more subjective. Personally I like it's styling better than the two yanktanks it represents.

I had both and I felt the dominator was better. People say it handles awful but I think its ok. Its great for drifting And not like the gauntlet is good at handling either.

The gauntlet is a cool car to drive around but not much a racer. It doesn't slide or spinout easily which is great. But its more of a tight feeling.

ALL the Muscle class cars handle horribly.

The best rated for racing was The Imponte Phoenix & Ruiner, but having had them both - they're just awful to race in.

For looks, I tried others, including the Dominator, but in the end, the best of the lot for me is the Bravado.

It looks better, handles better than others, and is pretty fun to drive. Except in races. The muscle class is a tail-happy fiasco.

As for modding/upgrading, there's nothing special like The Phoenix with it's giant spoiler or The Ruiner with it's giant exhaust pipes, but it's a classy car if you're into that.

Good luck! ;)

This - except if you're up against someone who can actually drive a Dominator well or the track isn't full of extremely tight, slow turns.

It's got almost no visual mods though.

My thoughts exactly. I saw the front for the first time and thought it was a Camaro then I see the back and it's made by bravado I was like wtf

Honestly, its bipolar Challenger/Camaro design is a massive turn off for me. Also, because of its (IMO overdone) stability, as a muscle car, it is not that exciting to drive. To that end, the Dominator both looks like a singular (i.e. wholly Mustang) design, and feels like a proper muscle car. For races, however, Gauntlet is the safe choice.

I love it. My favorite in the Muscle class by far. Has great speed, good handling, and I just like it's appearance way more than the Dominator.

Yes it's worth the money, yes you should get one.

Fugly. The lack of mods is a turnoff. Also, it doesn't "feel" very powerful due to the fact that it handles so differently from other muscle cars.

Dominator for life.

Then you're a hipster

No, because then you'll have a Faggio and a Faggio.

Gauntlet would be cooler if it had actual customization options.

I have the Gauntlet, same color scheme as the OP has shown, and I like it. I like the look, I like the sound, and I like the fact that it does not spin out on every turn like my late, great Dominator. Fun tor drive around, as stated by people above. I appreciate that the purists have a problem with the appearance, but I don't know cars that well, so it looks fine to me.

They should put the Buffalo Mk. II tailights on the Gauntlet too, doesn't look right. Also add a real camaro, manufactured by Cheval. Pleze and thenk yew

Never have been able to keep one in my garage, always the first thing I replace. Even with new space it wont crack my top 5 muscle cars. No mods, not crazy about the stripe and a little boring to drive. Good first car to learn racing with.

In races, it cant touch a Dominator or Ruiner with a good driver.

The Dominator is waaaaay more fun to drive, better looking, has more mods and sounds better. So if you're into aesthetic things like that, buy a dominator. If you're in it purely to win it, in races, by a Gauntlet. If you can bare staring at it's awfully ugly camaro/challenger fusioned body.

Vigero taillights on Gauntlet would make it a proper Challenger.

It's the best all-round Muscle car but must admit I found it a bit boring and stopped using it, replaced it with a Phoenix and enjoy using that far more, seems to be far less tail happy than I remember as well! Experience I guess.

After the free electric car (which I sold pretty quick) this was my true first car. Still got it, where it takes a well earned rest in solt 1.

it could do with being a bit faster but it'll take a fair beating though compared to other cars.
