Does online still freeze if its in a invite only session?

Yes it does. Most chances of freezing you'll have if you call the mechanic for a vehicle 'it tends to freeze if it doesn't find a spawn spot in time' and during flying any plane 'especially the Laser jet'

I've never had it happen to me in an invite only grind session. In a free roam lobby, that is different. Guess I've just been lucky in invite only.

Nobody knows mate, most of the time every fix creates more glitches and bugs when it comes to GTA O. I wouldn't count on it being fixed anytime soon.

 

Its sad to see my PS3 freeze every session though. Those hard resets aren't good for the old console. 'old 60 gb launch version'

i thought the freezing was because of bad internet, but i did a connection test and i have 8.7mbps download and like 1.8 mbps upload. is that good or not? what is the recomended internet speed that the game should run on?

It happens to me in single player also its really fcked up at this point its nearly impossible to me to play anymore

Have yet to freeze in an invite only session. I have had multiple times playing for 1 - 3 hours with upwards for 9 people at a time, all flying sometimes. I still have no idea what freezes the game, some say calling the mechanic, some say flying to fast but in all honesty it sometimes happens when I stop and start shooting cops. But I usually don't shoot cops in invite only sessions since I usually don't do illegal stuff.

I spend 95% of my time in Invite Only, for about 3-5 hours each day. I'll get a freeze once per day on average, sometimes twice, sometimes none.

 

I cannot recall it ever happening in any sort of pattern. Through the lens of my sniper, driving cars, bikes, boats, helis and planes, walking around, free roam and in missions, it's annoying but no Fallout Vegas.

My console has never froze during an Invite only session. Although the game has frozen before many times while in a public session. It gets really annoying especially when I'm flying the P-996 lazer. Sometimes when I switch my character, I can't connect to a lobby so it throws me into SP. I don't know why this has been happening, I'm sure it isn't my wi-fi because I used to be able to play just fine without any problem.

That's playable, but sub-optimal.

Dude Century Link messed up my internet and for a few days I had like 1.5mbps download and I was fine online but I would occasionally get signed out of psn and this was before the 1.11 update. So u should be good. My interent is much better now and i freeze 2 to 4 times a day since the update.

 

Just wondering did you do a connection test through your ps3/xbox or like from speed test?

It seems to come and go. I'll have a few days where I have no issues at all, then a few days where I can't even get into a session with people.
