The joys of driving crap in freeroam, I may get passed by bicycles but an Emperor or a Minivan are quite simple cars to replace in a worst case scenario (and I personally enjoy them much more than supercars so it's not a 'downgrade' to me though with a second garage I may actually go some muscle cars)

Yeah, mostly now I jack random cars because I don't comprehend how i'm losing vehicles

This reminds me, someone shot me the moment i spawned in a match, i then sniped his face a few times and his car got impounded, then i jumped on my bike and called Pegasus for a cargobob. He chased me but was far behind me. However i had to climb up a ladder and start up the cargobob.

The moment i arived at the impound i saw him pulling over with a van to go and hop the fence & steel his turismo. I slammed my cargobob into him and he died, i then pulled his car out of the impoud lot and dropped it into the water and left the match asap after that because i was tired.

Next day i check my messages and see 3 of them from that said person, all out in rage how he lost his turismo and couldn't get it back anymore, all out rage, caling me names ect.

Long story short, i think he got messed up just like you somehow.

I had trouble understanding this until I realised that what you call a match, I call a free roam session...

that's why I like to use reading comprehension or good old fashioned common sense. Works wonders :)

About the only time I ever get a car impounded is when I am joyriding around in my PV, and some assholes come along out of the blue and attack me. In the process of defending myself, sometimes I pick up a star or 3, and then I get killed either by the cops or by the assholes, and since I was wanted when I got killed, the car goes to impound.

I have been careful now, to always get the car back before I take out another PV from the garage, or quit the session. Console freezes while I have a car in impound are the only thing that I still have to worry about,, but so far no bad luck.

Wouldn't you see a car missing in your garage though?

The first (and only) time it happened to me, I did not know that there was a rule that only one PV can be outside the garage. I figured that I would get to the impound when I found time. I learned since then. :bored:

I think I read on these forums that the car will also disappear if left in impound too long, like one in-game day? Is that also true?
