So whats the deal with R* planning to patch RP and glitched cash?

I never got involved when people where earning 2b per bounty and stuff

(Was on ps4 for a fair while) but i glitched from level 56-100 for the trophy

Which i cant lose anyway can i?

And lsc glitched about 8m, is that still working?

Idc if i lose my ranks or my cash to be that honest but just wondering will i be hit with resets?

Glad i glitched 100 for the trophy mainly as i doubt i would of got it otherwise...

 

Hyped for heists and 2 apartments however :D

I wonder if it will be a reset to zero, a removal of only the amount of glitched rp or simply a general reset to a predetermined rank, like the 550k everybody was left with after the cashpocalypse.

I thought this game was about fun/mingling with other people and all in all having a good time? I can't for the life of me (MHO) understand why people have to glitch/cheat. I've met a lot of dicks but,some really cool people from around the globe. RP to me means nothing but maybe experience and glitching/cheating/hacking ruins it. I have no worries about a reset. No offense - just my point.

Eh, depends. If R* catch you, they've yet to say exactly what constitutes "Nefarious" behavior beyond what they said in the Spring Update post. Suffice to say the judging from their plans, if they deem RP glitching as cheating then you will be delevelled from 100 to whatever is appropriate, though you will keep the trophy.

 

As for cash, again, if they catch you and take action, I suspect you'll be hit with a two-week console ban and a removal of all your money.

Same here, you know how many missions I had to do and am currently doing? (Especially after yesterday bit the bullet and bought a tank droping me from 2 Mill to 500k, back up to about 1mill again figured the High Life update won't be for another week or two at least)

 

Only thing I glitched was stunt jumps and that's because I didn't feel like printing a map and going arround and doing them all for two colors and a trophy lol.

@MrcTOtheJ - same here!! grinding RR all day (not really) but still make around 100-250k a day, do that every chance you play and you wont need to hack, cheat or glitch ;)

 

I aint worried :)

If you're on the PSN add me, I run (Or rather a friend of mine does most of the time) a list of about ten or so missions with a few friends of mine, and depending on how much we do it, we can clear over 600k a day, though the norm is closer to 300k or less if you aren't on all day or if we screw around inbetween. All of them over 10K beats doing RR over and over, while not as fast, it takes the monotony out of it.

You know this is why we can't have nice things, right? -.-

 

 

Just play the game. There's no rush to ANYTHING. It took me 5 months to get to 100 because I didn't felt to rush to it.

Now I'm 59 in less than a month because now I do feel the rush to get back to 106 since I can no longer use my other acc (With the original 106), so from that point I will be leveling to 120 on my own tempo.

 

I don't feel the need to rush, neither should anyone here: Because that's when the game starts to get boring.

I don't think RP glitchers will be reset. Only people who cheated by using DNS servers and such.

As much as i don't really care about them being level 1000 because it just shows to everyone they have been dsn abusing. I'm so going to LMAO at all my friends. Just for the sake of lol i hope they get reset to rank 1, but keep all their stuff. And won't be able to use the tank anymore.

And their characters will all have a hat which cannot be removed with a gay Putin face mask.

Me neither but I do worry for legit players being affected by mistake.

 

Yeah well.. there is a lot of chance that legit players will be deranked and glitchers will be collecting millions within days and rank up with new glitches created with the content creator.

They haven't mentioned about removing glitched money, just the RP exploits that involved people using DNS codes, DNS hosted lobbies and Mods. Simply put, anyone who has used any of these is in for a shock when it comes to ranking. From 400 to hoping less than 100.

Your RP will only be adjusted if you participated in mods, hacks, DNS redirects, manipulation of cloud files, or other similarly nefarious behavior. If you grinded short legitimate missions or otherwise gained a small amount of RP without modding, your RP should not be affected by this correction."
