Mission Impossible

As a flipside to this thread, what missions do you find incredibly difficult to complete or are straight up not fun to do?

For me, Stick Up The Stick-Up Crew has about a 75% failure rate. Pretty much every time I do it I get annihilated by the SUV aimbots of doom somewhere on the route back to Madrasso's lockup. That's if the dudes near the truck haven't headshot me first

I still haven't managed to complete Wet Work yet either - its bugged out on me a few times so that even though I've delivered the boat where it needs to go (after taking a million years to get there) I still have to kill off some bikers that never seem to spawn.

Anything that requires more than one player to start. Landing Gear, Parking Garage etc.

High Priority Case is a swine too. Los Santos Connection is pretty difficult to solo, but not impossible. Just nearly impossible.

Method in the Madness. The first half is relatively easy, but the part that messes me up is when the boats leave instead staying ''parked''.

All the missions are Fairly Easy IMO. Really, I have played mostly all missions in Hard and it was quite easy to complete unless you dont have those crack bozo players that dont understand english and know only how to blow up everything.

I don't remember the name of the mission but you had to take out a bunch of guards and cops and take a picture of the dead body.

And then if you have to rely on randoms....

Last time I played Landing Gear I watched two planes collide taking off and a third crash into a crane on the docks. No one bothered with a Buzzard either.

THIS. It doesn't help that the Lost continuously spawn on their stupid bikes and laser accuracy as soon as you leave the first objectives... it makes picking up the meth impossible. No joke, that river part gave me a reason to buy the Rhino just to see how many Lost would spawn.

Then there's Out Of Harmony. That final firefight is the toughest to survive because, somehow, strung out bikers are equivalent to a NOOSE Squad... You'll get flanked in a heartbeat.

Yeah, last time I did it I ended up in the same situation. Still managed to save the mission by effecting a bailout on the delivery marker before a rocket damaged my plane.

That sounds like Death From Above. For the record, f*ck that mission. f*ck it in the ass.

I fail at landing gear so hard. My walking only method really f*cks me up here.

Death From Above I used to think was impossible, so had a whine at how low the payment is for the hassles. All you need to do is go in as fast as you can, shoot the guys guarding the gate, then immediately to your left by the garage is a guy hiding, shoot him. Jump up onto the grass and shoot the 2 guys behind the fence. Jump over fence, find the target and kill him. Won't be long before you die, but you have another life. When you respawn the cops wont bother you. Job done. But the payout is really lousy.

It's always easier to wait and fight the bots from cover than trying to shoot them while driving. Everyone is always in such a hurry like there's a timer or something.

Rooftop Rumble and Coveted. Everyone does these at high speed, especialy Rooftop Rumble where you end up geting shot to pieces before you get in cover because there is always some idiot of low intelligence who opens fire as soon as they spawn.

Death from Above is difficult solo but gets easier with a tank. The Los Santos Connection and Chemical Extraction are teh only 2 missions I can think of where it would be nigh impossible to do solo. having said that, I don't it's (more often than not) other players that make the missions difficult. no one has any concept of working together and everyone has to do all the shooting or be the one to grab the objective or deliver it. This alone is why so many heists will fail.

For some reason Method in the Madness is like Kryptonite to me, never seem to be able to get through it.

As above though, hate missions that need more than 1 person to start them, even though some are pretty easy to do solo

The new "Show me the Monet" is pretty tough, having to outrun a 4 star wanted level in a truck.

I just head underground

Docks To Stocks 2, that dock-handler used to move the container keeps setting it's self on fire for some unknown reason?! lol

Out of Harmony, the time limit on getting the truck to the destination is pretty tight!

Los Santos Connection is fairly easy if you have a tank. (don't destroy all the vehicles until you have the coke). I've done it a few times. Was also forced to finish the mission solo when everyone died trying to hack the laptop. That was a fun ride.

I have done The L.S. Connection solo quite a few times recently, do the first bit in a fast car - then get a buzzard from the Hospital or Airport, destroy the plane, then the vehicles in the hanger/guards, get out snipe the 2 guys at the top of the stairs/gang-way grab the coke, get back in buzzard take out the SUVs/helos and fly to Martin's.

I just did Chemical Extraction solo for the first or second time solo about 1/2 an hour ago, it takes a lot longer on your own - but having done this with my crew before I know where the guards are going to spawn so can work my way around without getting killed. After shooting the guards on foot, and the hummer, start hacking the key pad, then exit to take out the next lot of guards, hack the pad and move the van out, this spawns the helo. take it out with your heavy weapon of choice, then get in your car and drive to the entrance to spawn the 5 SUVs, I drove to the end of the car park and got my mini-gun out and took care of the last lot of enemies before going back to the van and driving away :0)

I have done this once, solo - just! The timer was ticking down the last 10 seconds and I just managed to swing the buzzard around the building to take the last one out - I don't think I will be doing it solo again, I would probably fail!? lol

Judging the Jury has an element of luck to it, if you can get the last 4 pretty well with a buzzard your sorted (and can call lester to remove the wanted level)

I've finished it being the last one alive but it's the hacking part that's the problem.

I'll give that a try. I didn't know you could hack the keypad in stages.

Soran Is On

It takes a thief, stealing the tanker for Lamar, basically any mission that starts with the target leaving the city at high speed so it just turns into a road trip to wherever the target stops.

It takes a thief: Snip.

Yeah, that job can suck especially solo - it's much better with two people, and if you can get to the cars when they are down at the docks/terminal it can be done quickly. If the Jackal gets on the high-way it can take ages to catch up with it/PIT/shoot driver!? Funny thing about this one is it is one of the early jobs you get from Simeon?! lol

It depends on the team. I won't even attempt most crazy missions with randoms especially the los Santos connection. But if I'm with friends/crew were clutching all day.

Judging the jury. Solo. On hard. DO IT!

Have, a few times.

With a buzzard its not too difficult.

Without it's bloody irritating

Base Invaders, and Dry Docking are pretty difficult also - out of 106 missions those 2 plus Docks To Stock and Out Of Harmony are probably the hardest ones I reckon!

Oh yeah, and Death From Above isn't very easy but 'doable' :0)

Death from above was the most difficult mission, who came up with the brilliant idea of having to take a pic of the dead body?
