Just because he fights alongside a group, doesn't mean that he's a pussy. He bikers are about "brothers help brother" and "stand by each other". If one of the other bikers got into a firefight of some sort, they wouldn't be alone, as brothers would come to help them just to ensure that another brother isn't taken from them. Look at the mission in GTA IV, "No Love Lost", Jason called up on his brothers to help him, not because he was a pussy, but to make sure that he wouldn't be taken from the Lost.

Ok I do somewhat see the point you're getting at. But couldn't the same thing be said about a gangbanger? Granted we haven't see a 100% gangbanger story the same way we did with a biker story, but your logic can apply to anyone who is a part of a gang in a GTA game now or in future.

I'm one of the few that liked Luis... I mean, I loved the story of TBoGT. Funny, people complaining about a GTA character acting too tough. Maybe he reminds some of you of the guy at school that used to bully you.

I could relate to Luis in the sense that he was trying to get away from his criminal past. And really, in order to do that, you sort of have leave all your friends etc.

 

This makes no sense, seeing as I never had any Dominican kids at my school.

 

I hate Luis because his dialogue is terrible. Literally every other word out of his mouth is "bro"

 

He only had two emotional states.

 

Surprised at something crazy: Where he says "f*ck, bro! that was crazy!"

 

Or he's angry at someone, in which case he says "f*ck you, bro!"

 

Amazing character development.

 

 

As for too tough? Really? Luis just got lucky because of Tony he had all these connections and weapons. I'd like to see him up against Trevor.

And maybe his character wasn't developed as much as other characters in GTA but you can sort of simplify any GTA character like you did like Michael just been depressed and self-loathing, Trevor is just maniacal etc

 

Over all, I thought Luis and Tonys relationship to be an interesting story. Luis to me just sounded like a level-headed loyal guy that got reluctantly dragged in to other peoples messes and he had to clean up. I'm not sure how you'd even fix his character or how you could change him to make him more interesting. I just took him for who he was. I felt mostly indifferent bit leaning on liking him as I enjoyed the story more that Nikos and I didn't really like Niko (I did before I played the game) but discovered his accent was bad, the dialogue unrealistic for a guy who's English wasn't supposed to be that good and his constant whining was unbearable. Rockstar weren't in a good place when they made IV and its reflected in the game.

Yes and it's their decision how the characters end up. CJ or Tommy are not dead because they chose not to kill them, or maybe they haven't actually told us what has happened to them. I don't know about that. It doesn't really matter now as we are in the HD era

 

 

If Johnny dies, then he dies. He was a character in a DLC, it actually makes more sense he has a less chance of surviving than a main character in the vanilla game, especially since he's a biker and you can make excuses to kill him off. You have to remember they've even clarified that Johnny went to Los Santos, so you can get a good idea what might have happened. Trevor said he was their enemy.

Out of anything in this post, that is probably the most retarded thing you've said. How does him being a biker have anything to with having a batter chance of being killed?

 

If anything, he should be able to survive a drunk random Canadian hillbilly. Johnny killed a politician and many secret service guarding that politician. He killed dozens of FIB to rescue Elizabeta's friend Marta. Johnny alone, without Terry or Clay, must have killed dozens guards in that prison before he killed Bill. Hehe, kill Bill.

I'm sure we'll see more of tony and luis at some point in future dlc. I assume gta v is going to wrap up the "HD" era of "gta", so there's time and space for any idea and assumption until then.

Rockstar is basically acting like IV means nothing. It reminds me of how R* acted towards VC when SA was coming out. At least once they referred it to 'that one game'.
