micheal687 Posted April 6, 2014 Share Posted April 6, 2014 Hello people, My cpu is q6600 using it since the day of gta 4 release, but it is not working lately. what i did was removed my graphic card 9600 gt from motherboard pci slot and started using it without any Graphic card. What i observe is this that the cpu stays at 100% all time. i cannot even open the start menu. Onboard graphic is not meant for GTA IV and so is that 9600GT, both are too weak to run it. The CPU you have is okay and should be able to manage it. What you'll need is a graphic card and possibly a power supply. Maybe the system is infected? Also, I wouldn't blindly recommend GTX750Ti since it's a PCIe 3.0 card, and we don't know what motherboard the OP has - if his mobo has PCIe 1.0, then there's a good chance the GTX750Ti would not work.
