Using the turismo r and rpg to start at the side wall, fire 1st rpg at the gaulnlet 2nd rpg hit the grangers near the back exit 3rd hit the two cars blocking the front exits. Then jump in grab briefcase run to rear exit jump in car and drive to drop off point, dodgeing the 4 black grangers. I cleared the 1st part in 53secs then got to drop of point for 2min 34seconds and i hit 2grangers. People time your fastest Rooftop Rumble times, be truthful :)

Even faster if you use a helicopter from Merryweather. ;)

Even faster if you use a helicopter from Merryweather. ;)

But that turns a $18,500 mission into a $17,500 mission.

That's only $1000. I typically let the other players call for the helicopter anyway.

I think i could beat most times set by someone who calls heli, picks it up then flys back lands kills all picks it up then flys drop of. I would have set off in my turismo before they got in the heli at hospi helipad, "just sayin"

GTA-Freak-Vi

I prefer using a car(entity) to get there since you get there much faster if you don't crash aimlessly, fastest I've done is around 3 mins but I don't really keep a timer with me when playing.

Anyway, good job

It's a great way of doing it when playing with other multiple people as RR is more of an RP grind than a cash grind IMO, "just sayin"

I remember when Violent Duct lasted 5 seconds. Thinking about it, if people had discovered Rooftop Rumble in the first few weeks, it would have been farmed to hell.

Not bad. I try running sometimes, tho it sucks when those SUV's (swat and NPC) pin me into a wall.

You would eventually end up making more money going the merryweather route though, because you can complete more runs in a given time. My math could be off (still waking up and pre-caffeine at this stage) but it would only take an hour of rooftop rumble, not counting loading screens and other superflous time spent between missions, to have surpassed the non-helicopter method in terms of moolah.

Dont know about swat but the grangers a bitch

Still slower than Coveted and after dropping $1k on a chopper, less money.

and....

The loading screen takes at least another 2 mins, but I get it, everybody can drive but not everybody can fly the Bob!

I play this solo, and lose only 150$ in Combat MG ammo. Every RPG shot is 500$ and the helicopter is useless, since its only about 10-20sec faster than Turismo/Entity. I have never timed these, but it's quite quick to solo. Sure with two players you don't even need cover and it's maybe 30sec quicker, but still neverthess IT TAKES MORE TIME TO START THE MISSION THAN COMPLETE IT.

That's called investment, bro. Do you think you didn't buy the ammo & grenades you used for that mission?

$18,750 is gross salary. You've got to minus the salary with the amount $ of everything you spent to complete this mission. You can call you're Profiting if you're actually have covered every cost and you still have more.

Rooftop rumble was being farmed about 2-3 days after release

I can do it on my BMX in about 10 minutes. I might have to start using a race bike, shave a few seconds off. Anyway, What's his name still payes me and tells me he loves me (In an appropriate way of cause) so that's nice.

Okay, just finished the mission solo in 5:18 (Freemode to freemode) on hard

0:50 to start the mission (press start, go to online-jobs-mission.., load, set the options, start, load...)

1:20 to get the documents (drive to the back, shoot the 13 guys, run to the front to the yellow marker, collect the documents, go to car)

1:45 driving to the Madrazos place (could be done 10-15sec faster, it was night so harder to drive)

1:20 to finish the mission (Madrazo talking about golf, voting dislike, selecting continue - freemode, loading the freemode)

profit = 18,750$ - 300$ (ammo cost) = 18,450$

So that's 18,450/5min = 3690$ / min. (considering that I could have done this in stone cold 5min.)

Beat that using the chopper and RPG?

Of course, if you are interested in RP farming, and not the money, it makes a difference since the chopper is slighty faster.

Yep. 3 min seems about right (I haven't timed it) for me as well, as long as there aren't any noobs hindering me. The garage can be cleared in ~45s solo - prolly 2x faster with coordinated team. Then, Entity/Adder/Turismo + clean driving + the 'secret' shortcut, seems to be the key.

I can't remember what my clearance times were solo RR with the chopper (I don't use RPG anyway) but doing it duo with someone else who knows the drill will yield 2 minute or less times. Guy with chopper doesn't need to use ammo at all, so you only need to factor in the chopper cost for him. Ammo cost for the other guy.

$4437/min for the guy calling a chopper

$4612/min for the other guy

But that turns a $18,500 mission into a $17,500 mission. It does but it also means more money over time. For example

12 times an hour at 18,500 = 222,000 or

15 times an hour at 17,500 = 262,500. So even though you've paid 15grand on helis. You're still about 20% up on earnings over time

I find using a helicopter.takes about 4 minutes from hitting host job to getting back to free roam.

The ultimate RR is like this:

Start RR

Friend gets Frogger heli

You get the document

Friend picks you up in heli

FLY

Land at MM's house (Fore!)

Get 18k
