Rims. Why are they misused.

I know there is an argument that to each his own but I honestly dont see why this occurs.

Any other rim style than sport and high end on supers

Lowriders on anything than classic American cars

Tuner rims on anything other than tuner cars.

Muscle cars with offroad rims.

Seriously muscle should have muscle rims

Super and sports only sports and high end (both high end and sports are suitable for both classes)

Lowriders on Lowriders and classic old cars

Tuner on only tuner cars

Suv only on suv

Off road only on offroad or rugged suvs like dubsta ect

excuse me but you misused the thread title

nearly all the rim options on this game are ugly, they look like some stupid plastic and some rims just look plain dumb

so if you have a problem with someone using SUV rims on a supercar to suit their personal preference, keep it to yourself

because different people have different preferences.
Jeez, I put sport rims on my Dominator because they look nice on it. Isn't that what matters?

IMO the tuner rims are ugly and small

*Cough* that's what she said *cough*

Because many people that play GTA are not even old enough to drive/own a real car. They exist only as posters in their bedrooms.

Um, OP, this is a video game, not real life. I mean, seriously, who walks around LA with a pig mask and a minigun?

I couldn't care less of what they are made for. I use tuner on everything fast, Lowrider on any Sport Classic and Offroad on SUV's and Offroads. While I do believe wheel type has a difference, it is still not proven to me.

Who cares? I mean, bright yellow tuner rims/muscle rims on say an Entity pisses me off and makes me sick but damn. It's their preference. I really don't know why people on here are so petty.

Yeah. Complaining won't do anything. Might as well just sit back. Watch a chrome Adder drive into the sunset. Watch it get attacked by tanks 10 seconds later. Move on.

If i want my Dominator to closely resemble my Mustang V6, i have to buy a set of rims classified as tuner.

Don't think there is anything wrong with that. If you want modern stylish 17 inch wheels, yourbest bet is in the tuner catagory. Im actually glad that there are no restrictions based on the cars itself.

Honestly does it really matter how the rims are used.. It is all personal preference anyway... I prefer the oversized wheel and tire look.. So I have no plans of using anything that looks small..

^This. I don't really like the low profile look on some of my high end cars. I have tuner rims in my Adder, and I get more compliments from people rather than hate.

OP is clueles! Most classic LMP1 / F1 use Muscle tires and any racer will have custom tires.

I think then of rims change treads shouldn't. Tuner treads on a sports car look ridiculous. Im all for custom cars but seriously I didnt even change the rims on the Roosevelt. The stock ones are perfect. Custom ones are too wide for a 1920s car yet I have seen Roosevelts with low profile super car tyres. Ect I see no reason why drift rally cars that are the same cant work with either tuner ir offroad but do you see a bugatti with dillar whitewalls irl no.
