Emblem/Social Club Issues

A friend of mine is having issues the last couple days where his emblems look 'wooden' as he says any time he uses them and his Social Club is down, or the entire website for that matter on his end.

 

They look normal on my screen and others but for him it's 'blank' but has a wooden effect. Anyone else experiencing this bug or does anyone know a solution?

 

All help or suggestions will be great, thanks.

im his friend and i cant do missions or gang attacks all i can do is free roam.

Ah, yes. Forgot to mention about missions and activities. Wasn't your RP not working as well?
