Because the Tuesday before that date will be when the last of the DLC recently announced is released.

Well, the game did actually release during spring in Australia but I remember the first time seeing that delay, I was so pissed. If you were here on GTA F before the game came out then you would have seen the outbreak that news brought. Never had I seen so many people whining/bitching at the same time. 'Twas a nightmare

And to think after waiting until Sept 17th, plus two weeks for Online, plus a few days until it was playable, plus SIX TO EIGHT MORE MONTHS until heists are released...
