Where will you be when they correct the RP on players?

I'll be in the exact same position that I am at the moment, a shiny level 107.

 

To be honest, I didn't even know that there were RP glitches for the game. Regardless, I wouldn't have used them if I'd known. I'd be pretty unhappy if they reset RP from the Armoured Car glitch, as it's not our fault that they keep spawning. I'd also be pretty upset if they decided that grinding missions like RR and Coveted was nefarious, given that they've already said that it's not a punishable action.

 

How does one go about glitching RP anyway?

EDIT: Gosh, you legit players are such white knights. No wonder you guys are the biggest victims of griefing/trolling.

 

I'm a legit player and never been griefed/trolled. No one f*cks with the pig.

Everyone is saying they will have nothing to fear and they played legit and alll that good stuff. But what if R* slipped and de-ranked you by mistake? I am sorry but this "Hakunamatata" attitude some of you have is gonna go right out the window. I am a legit player as well but I am worried about how they are gonna do this no one that worked hard wants to get a kick in the pants for something they didn't do.

 

If they de-rank legit players by accident, there's going to be three responses;

 

1.) You contact R* and argue that you didn't cheat. They argue that their data says you did. You are left with your new rank.

 

2.) You contact R* and argue that you didn't cheat. R* admit they made a mistake, humbly apologise, but state that they cannot return you to your old rank. You are left with your new rank.

 

3.) You contact R* and argue that you didn't cheat. R* admit they made a mistake, humbly apologise and return you to your rank.

They've already said that repeating missions is not classified as nefarious behaviour. I'm more concerned about the short, 25 second races with 64 checkpoints. They were extremely profitable during the Business Weekend, but when I asked about them on R*'s Twitter they ignored me.

I remember running Criminal Records for like an hour straight one time when I was saving for my first apartment, and since it's not one of the races you're referring to I don't think I'll have anything to worry about.

Who cares if you lose levels, some will deserve it and I'm sure a majority will not, get over DIY move on and level back up again,,, most people will just lose a rpg and mini gun which are for wuss players anyway TLDR: deal with it.

I was referring to the ones people have created. 64 checkpoints in a straight line, that kind of caper.

I'll be playing another game while waiting for the rp reset maintenance period to end. Obviously I don't know this for certain but it seems very likely that there'll be a period of downtime while the correction is done as there was for the money removal. Probably immediately before an update.

 

Oh, and my level won't change. Like my bank balance didn't.

i was playing with a group of randoms that did the helicopter rp glitch when capture mode first was released...

 

i when up 7 ranks, do if they were to remove those rp i would go down to level 118.

the reason R* does this is because people keep DNSing and Hacking, glitching imo is OK, because it is a fault of the game, and you shouldnt get introuble for it even if you go titf with it. I swear, in the 4 weeks i have had online, there have been so many optic, faze and other cod group wannabe named gamertags asking if I want mods for lvl 500 and $1billion. Its annoying. This is why R* does such wipes.

I'm glad they are doing it i quit playing with my main char who is a rank 839 because my BIL used a DNS code while visiting over the holidays and he ranked my up to over 839 so since then i've been using my second char but i don't know if I'll go back to using my first one of not

Yeah i hope this isn't a money sweep all over again.

 

A lot of people who had legit money had a lot if not all of it taken away during the sweep i just hope they don't mess up with this causing people who spent a lot of time ranking up only to loose there legit rank.

 

But i always though it was funny seeing a lvl 120 rank with the skill of a lvl 10 and they'd defend there rank calling it legit.

2 lvl 90 characters it is not hard to level in this game and i get bored once i hit around that area an i only play like an hour a night a couple of times a week i expect to still be that level.
