I'm not going to argue the legitimacy of my rank anymore, but four things got me nervous:

1. Armored trucks: I stand to lose 3,000,000RP if they decide infinite armored truck spawn is 'nefarious.'

2. Criminal Records: I can't remember if I took part in a glitch for this race or not.

3. The Covetedx16 and the CCOIIIx8 playlists: I'm not sure if they're ill-gotten.

4. The Rooftop Rumble bookmark: Even though it just has ease of join and change the weather goodies, they might perceive it as nefarious.

If you think the raging tweens are going to be bad here, just browse the R* support forums, the day after the RP culling. If anyone wants a laugh now, go there and find the topic about the guy who's claiming R* stole his legit 105 million from him, while he only has 7 days of game time lol.

Unless running solo races to farm RP is not considered legit by Rockstar during the cull, I will be 100% a-okay. Don't really care about other people getting culled, in general, tbh.

If you used a farm or grind method I'm sure you'll be fine. It's the saved game editor, dns, and real glitch methods you gotta worry about.

My rank (190) should remain unchanged as it is legit, though I wouldn't be surprised if it was lowered. Ranking up becomes stupidly easy after 120 and takes next to no time compared to when you're still trying to achieve unlocks. I think it'll depend on what, if any, unlocks Rockstar are planning for beyond 120.

The patch won't be what alters your level if you've cheated, it'll be done server-side. All you achieve by not installing your update is leaving yourself unable to play the game, but your rank will be adjusted if you've cheated, regardless of whether you patch or not.

 

I expect to be at level 96. If not, I shall supremely pissed, as I have not engaged in any nefarious activities on this account. RR, Coveted and long-short races during the business weekend is how I got to 96 in a short space of time.

Everyone is saying they will have nothing to fear and they played legit and alll that good stuff. But what if R* slipped and de-ranked you by mistake? I am sorry but this "Hakunamatata" attitude some of you have is gonna go right out the window. I am a legit player as well but I am worried about how they are gonna do this no one that worked hard wants to get a kick in the pants for something they didn't do.
