Gta 5 1.11 Freezing/crashing issue ruining my game-play

I'm seriously getting pissed off at the fact that rock-star always has to fail with there updates, sure they try and improve things but it seems like every-time they do it just makes things worse or there is a new glitch/exploit video made on you-tube the following day...

 

ever since the 1.11 update i have been freezing 2-3 times an hour which its unacceptable i know its the 1.11 update because me and my friends have all been experiencing the same problem since 1.11

 

Please fix the freezing online rock-star its getting ridiculous now, or at-least acknowledge that its happening on your servers instead of just ignoring us like everything is alright when its clearly not. As much as i want the new updates to come out you guys need to fix the online freezing issue A.S.A.P. its ruining my online game-play as-well as many others...

 

Also i have tried all the fixes rock-star suggested on there site such as deleting game cache Blah blah blah

its all just a bunch of rubbish and a waste of time, i even took it so far as to delete my single player Data only for it to still continue freezing....

 

Please post below if your experiencing this issue since the 1.11 update the more people the better"lets make people more aware of this problem so it can get fixed faster".not playing GTA 5 until it dose or at least until rock-star acknowledges that its there update that is creating the problems not my ps3.

 

 

EDIT: STILL FREEZING WITH 1.12, starting to get mad feel like this is now the face of GTAO5

Same here. The game is guaranteed to freeze at least once everyday since the patch.

It's now unplayable, I have re installed the game after re setting the PS3 as cock* refused to accept that they have an issue. It's now happening as I type with 5 of us all freezing at the same time. It's about every ten mins it will freeze or there will be an unknown network error.

 

Accept that you have an issue R* and stop telling us it's our end.

I am having the same problem, even after 1.12.

 

Here is a basic description of what is happening. When I spawn in free-roam, anytime I get into a car and do any sort of shooting, things get messed up. I can't pause, all that happens if I hit start is a template with the loading icon... I can't go into interaction menu (select), it just stalls and nothing happens until eventually it might randomly pop up if I drive around for for awhile... I can't join jobs without it freezing. In the rare case I do get into a job, I can't do many before the game freezes in the middle of a job and I have to physically get up and restart my PS3. Never had any serious problem with freezing until 1.11, and it is still doing it on 1.12. I've tried it on my console and my friends too, and single player also works perfectly fine, so it most definitely isn't my PS3. I've done everything they told me to do to my PS3, and none of it has worked. I've done all the rebuilding database, deleteing and reinstalling game data/patches. and now they're ignoring my complaints too.

Its weird i actually haven't had any freezing issues lately when they did 1.11 i froze so much but since 1.12 i haven't had one freeze, i played today for almost 3 hours in a session or i just got lucky

It's a known bug, plenty of people experiencing it, and it extends to both Xbox 360 and PS3.

 

There are a bunch of bullsh*t tutorials on how to "fix" this problem but none of them actually work.

 

Just recently i upgraded my xbox to a spare 120GB HDD i had as well as installing GTAV's play disc onto a USB 3 device and the freezing still happens every now and then.

 

Some days i can play for like 10 hours straight without a crash, other times i'll crash 2 or 3 times in a night.

 

IMO any troubleshooting you're currently doing is useless and a waste of your time as it's not related to your console. Just wait for 1.12.

1.12 is out already and its still freezing.

This has gone beyond a joke now. I experienced this problem in 1.11 but it was not a huge problem. However I am not a massive player of the game (about 4 hours a week).

 

This week I have been off work and decided to play a little more. However every session I have played I have frozen about 3 times a hour. Its resorted to me having to turn my PS3 off and back on again. Thinking it might have been a problem my end I have done all the fixes rock star have suggested. Again. The same issue!!!

 

I have used a friends PS3 who had a fresh install of GTAV on his system. 5 mins in again freeze!!

 

I have noticed friends in my sessions have the same problem at the same time so this has to be an issue with rock star and the servers there.

 

Before any more updates this needs to be patched as the game is fundamentally broken for the players.

 

I very much doubt I will play online again now until this is fixed which is a shame as its great fun and perfect for killing a few spare hours.

 

If rock star wanted us to buy cash cards why on earth do they not fix this game ASAP?

I am one of the lucky ones guess cause I don't freeroam, just in a solo session. But when I have invited more than 6 people i froze twice so I am thinking has to do with the amount of people in the session. Obviously some coding is clashing with another piece of coding. Rockstar just can't find it or ain't bothered by it at all at this stage.

My ps3 crashed 3 times yesterday in the same hour. I was in a lobby with a handful of my friends and then later, they've all crashed including me. They sent me a text stating that the game crashed on them out of nowhere. It's been happeneing non-stop since 1.11

Just had 3 freezes in a matter of 20 mins , It only happens in Public, rarely in private with a few friends.

GTA 5 Online is dead. Very few will see online heists and move onto next gen. There is nothing R* can do to turn the tide. Not even heists can get players back. I know a lot of people sold their PS3/Xbox360 already.

i got the same problem, started 2 days ago, except mine also does that sh*t in single player, my textures disappear or become low res
