Update to "Highlight player"

I know many of us are frustrated or annoyed by the lack of differentiation between players on the minimap.

Personally I think simply allowing us to assign a color to a player blip (similar to GTA IV) using the quickaction menu, where we currently can highlight a player, would be an easy to implement solution.

Then, for example, you could give 3 players who are together the same color and instantly know who to target or avoid.

Anyone have similar ideas or suggestions that you feel are practical?

I highlight whoever I need to find, and everyone who isn't highlighted I leave that way.

That works, but with large lobbies its a pain.

GTA-Freak-Vi

Yea sometimes it's quite hard to tell, just like reading some of the texts in-game (I have to get really close to the TV to read them sometimes lol)so if they add an option like that, it'll be much appreciated :^:.

I totally, totally agree with this. :^: In freeroam, I quickly bond with a few players and we have a blast running around, and soon enough we run into 2 or 3 assholes who gladly kill and re-kill us. I want to target only the assholes, and not my new friends. But there is no way to tell who is who, and so I get killed by the assholes over and over as I hesitate, trying to avoid shooting my friends. Without this, freeroam is just completely f*cking broken.:angry:

So I want a very quick, one-click way to label temporary friends and enemies, and I also want Friendly Fire enabled so I can't even shoot my new temporary friends. Then I could concentrate on killing the assholes, who really need killin'.

So highlight player : Yes, No, Friendly (blinking blue), Enemy (blinking Red), avoid (blinking piss-yellow), Twanker (blinking brown) ?

Spare Mango

Not to mention other dots blink when they get a kill. And when the list moves and you highlight the wrong character

When there's a freeroam war going on, you just can't know.

Say a friend joins in and his friend as well. You don't have the friends friend added and when kills occur you're not sure who's friend or foe because each time someone kills, their blip flashes and later on you see multiple blips flashing which causes confusion especially where there's multiple enemies scattered around along with your friends friends which you don't have added yet share neutrality.

Adding a permanent color on a chosen player would definitely fix it.

Yes that has to be one of the most frustrating things about using the highlight facility, plus the blinking doesn't usually last very long, I want it to last until I leave the session or turn it off.

Personally I kill everyone so it doesn't make too much a difference, but this is something that I've suggested before. It's so much more logical.

Sir, this makes way too much sense. Therefore it will not be implemented, despite the desperate need for it.

Somehow we need to tie into the cash cards so it will get added. Quick, someone do a cost analysis and write me a risk assessment!
