does it take longer for you to die the higher rank you are?

To whoever said no they are in fact incorrect. The health increase every 20 levels; 20, 40, 60, 80, and finally 100. Players under level 20 are at 'Max health' available (most likely to give them a fair chance). Level 20 you will be set to lowest health. Every 20 levels you add 20% to your health, and as you guess, level 100 is max health. There are no further benefits after level 100.

You get more health until you reach rank 1000.

You are incorrect. I honestly doubt you are legit level 324, but again I don't know you. I level to level 130 legit and level 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 i had the health bar appear and add 20% each time. After 100 you are done. Thats why those players who are level 1000 die to level 2's with hand guns.

I am legit, i have hundreds of players that can vouch for me so it doesn't matter lol anyways you're wrong I still get health rank ups every now & then after a certain amount of rank ups

Well if you are legit then I apologize, but then its most likely and bug, you cant gain more health after the bar is maxed out at 100/100. Again, if this were the case, then a level 1000 would have like 10x's more health then me, and 20 times more than a level 20. If that was the case then how can a low level even attempt to fight with a a high level. It caps at 100.

or you could be looking at it wrong, I don't see why R* would make it where it shows it leveling up but it doesn't, I could be wrong albeit this is what happens.

Also to add you also recover more health as you rank up

My level 9 character can't take many bullets before she dies, also it only takes a couple candy bars for her to fully regain health, my level 150 guy is a beast lol. He can take a rain of bullets to put him down, also takes 2+ candy bars from 1/2 depleted to gain full health. So, in other words, the higher rank, the more health you have, although, like some said, a headshot is a one hit kill.

It's 105, lol. But people can believe whatever they want. I won't keep arguing the fact.

I'm not doubting you, but is that from experience, or something you've read? :-)

I just did it recently, since 1.11 came out. I was ranked around 92 before I started playing again after 1.11 came out, and I remember not getting the last health unlock at 100, which concerned me because I was worried it was bugged and would never happen. Then it did at 105. At least that's how it went down for me.

People are so stupid smh, his question is valid I have no idea why people have to act like such ______. I dont know the answer to the question but It would seem that we may be able to take more damage at a higher level than we would at a lower level due to the fact that when we level I always see that we've gained more health.

I have two characters, one level 140 something and one like level 10

level 10 cant take a twenty foot fall or absorb bullets from npcs, he gets riddled fast

sometimes instead of stairs ill just jump off a building with the level 140 because i know he will live

depends on the building of course

so short answer, yes

unless its a head shot, in which case no

You know this is obvious...but I think the question is more about, can a level 200 take more damage than a level 120?

I know. op asked, whats the trouble?

anyway, motorcycles at a low level are not recommended, unless you are a really good driver or like respawning

there is a hidden stat called "max health" and its pretty mysterious i havent seen it documented anywhere its actual purpose, plus when it shows up, it glitches and shows you 20,40,60,80 and 100% on the screen so you cant even really determine exactly what % you really are... mine still pops up here and there and im rank 196 or so... so while we dont know that its possible it does help somewhat? but prob not THAT MUCH....

It makes no difference what rank you are. Only armour keeps you alive for longer but not much.

Yup. :^:

If you are having problems, you probably aren't shooting well. Aim at the head, and use bombs and shotguns. Armor and good health are the only things that keep people alive and strong.

And milk. Drinking milk keeps you alive and strong too.

Kinda, for every 10 ranks I believe your Health goes up, literally.

I doubt it's much of a difference from those that are low levels but it's still enough to probably kill you faster than you killing them.

I once read on a guide to maxing out lung capacity that you get an extra 20% health if you've maxed out all stats.

Here's the guide:

Can anyone confirm if this is true?

It's just about surviving the impact with the ground either, my main (lv 144) can drop safely from much greater heights than my alternate (lv 8). Whether that is directly related to rank or something else, I don't know.

no, its not true

but it would be cool

I got a deliberate leveling up of my health the other day when I hit 150. Was in a survival, low on health, & after a couple kills I was notified that I hit 150 and was given a clear boost to "Max Health" while ALSO being rewarded with Full health/armor.

Without going into how I feel I've noticed the ability to take more bullets, now as opposed to 50-60 ranks ago, I would say the short answer is yes.

Until someone can post something official from R* regarding this, I wouldn't believe anything about your health maxing out at around LVL 100. Twice I've received a boost to Max health after LVL100, the 1st time might've been lvl 120, I can't remember exactly. Either way, I believe yes, your health continues to level up.

Also keep on mind, vantage points, distance between people, getting the drop on people, the guns being used in these situations, & simply better aim can render extra health pretty much useless

Actually, the guy that said the health goes up every 20 ranks is correct. I still get those max health thingers. I think in deathmatch, none of it matters, it feels like players' experience matters in deathmatch, as it should be. I just started getting into deathmatch the last three weeks, my friend who has ranked up doing deathmatches and survivals owns me every time. I'm still learning to roll. I find free-aiming gives me a great advantage though.

Your health tops off at level 100. Compared to level 1, you will have about 1/3 more health. This is compared by a sniper rifle test. Level 1 players will take half their health from one hit to the body of a sniper, while level 100 will only take a third. This means the level 1 will die in two shots, while the level 100 will die in 3. This make a huge difference in weapons that do less damage since it will take many more bullets. Strength is also a factor in how fast your health goes down. At max strength you will take less damage. All play a factor in making the high level player much stronger. Not to mention the better weapons at a higher level. This is a fact.

So why does it keep telling me that my Max Heath levels up? Huge glitch by R* that everyone experiences? It would appear to be the only incentive after hitting rank 120 anyway, so it makes sense, that these notifications do in fact provide a little boost your health. Doesn't mean its a massive upper hand in gunfight though
