How the hell do you rappel out of a helicopter?

To rappel you have to use the MW helicopter pickup. Don't shoot the pilot, and set a waypoint. I can't beleive the pictures of people rappeling ALL the way down to street level. For some reaosn, it mainly only works on rooftops. Once you reach the waypoint you should see a little "Hold *button* to Rappel" option.

So, my question is, we all know that we can rappel out of a MW helicopter now so long as it's on stand-by above a building and not to able to to street level but, if a player is flying the helicopter and hovers of a building rooftop or maybe even the street, are we able to rappel out of it aswell if we're in the back?

 

If so, that would be so cool for crews who like dramatic entrances.

It only works at flat areas that aren't restricted, so it works over the sandy shores airfield but not at fort zancudo.

Not true thats how i found out you could repel ill show picture now somebody doing it in fort Zancudo

The option has Never popped up i swear and ive been taken places by MW helicopter, "Perfect time to roll up" that's why i use it without killing him

Is there any way to make the MW pilot fly to a certain altitude/height point, without it being the top of an apartment/bank?

No, he flies to the same approx height above whatever the waypoint is set on. You can fine tune the waypoint to alter it a little, but generally he goes where he goes.

For the rappel reasons, if I want to fly I'll call in my own Vestra.
