Balancing the pistols

I think that the pistols seriously need to be balanced. Using anything other than the AP and heavy pistol should not put you at a disadvantage.

Pistol:

Basic 9mm pistol

Combat Pistol:

.45 acp has better damage and range, but a lower magazine capacity

SNS Pistol:

Weakest out of all the pistols but also has the least recoil

Heavy Pistol:

High power, high recoil, low magazine capacity

AP pistol:

Fastest rate of fire, but also the least accurate (don't expect to hit anything at range). Bullets only do as much damage as the basic pistol

I'm guessing you guys love the AP pistol huh? I think it's a great weapon too. It's funny because according to ammunation, the basic pistol is .45 acp, yet it's a peashooter in the game. And is this thread really worth sending a death threat for?

That AP pistol does work. I have a better chance of killing you with it up close than with a rifle or SMG of any sort. It's great for drive-by but, if you have good accuracy, the starter or combat pistol can kill someone really easy. The heavy pistol is okay but like I said, if you're going to use any other pistol aside from the AP, you're going to need to have some serious accuracy or some serious luck.

Yeah, if you have good aim the semis are just as good as the autos.

I love the heavy pistol mostly because of it's sound and the one hit kill headshot.

The SNS has the second highest damage of them all (excluding the 50). So i don't know what you're talking about.

I'm cool with the heavy pistol. Completed Stocks and Scares 2 times only using that gun.

The heavy pistol comes in handy during the early rounds of survival, when the other idiots in the room use those rounds to camp in the usual places. It's not necessary to do that until things get real heated around wave 4-5. Go in there Max Payne style, bitch.

You use less ammo and get more kills using the Heavy against large groups of weaker enemies, saving time and money.

Lets try again
Pistol- 9mm
Combat- also a 9mm
Auto- also a 9mm
^^^Same damage^^^
SNS- could be a multitude of rounds- probably more commonly a .380, 9mm, or .45cal
Heavy pistol- 8 shot .45 cal= higher power, more accuracy, more recoil
Deagle- 7 shot .50AE= strongest pistol, most recoil, most range

how it should be

I think the combat pistol is a beast in DM's.
