Is the sentinel a good car for your first PV?

my cousin is rank 18 and he still doesn't have a pv, would the setinel be a good car for his first pv? i plan on finding him one and putting the performance parts on it for him and let him do the rest.

Yes, it's reliable and sturdy. But in races it can be beaten by other fully modified coupes.

Well, it'd be better if you give him a fully modified sport car (Futo, penumbra, Fusilade) those are faster and more useful in low level missions.

Personally I'd be hunting for a Dominator, Gauntlet or a Felon but that's purely my preference.

There's really a huge repertoire of steal-able vehicles and is not limited to:

 

- Fusilade

- Sentinel/XS

- Oracle/XS (1/2)

- Felon

- Jackal

- Sultan

- Schafter

- Tailgater

- Stratum

There's lots of good choices as far as non-premium vehicles off the street. Sentinel isn't bad but it's objectively not the best option.

 

If your buddy wants to race, I'd suggest (seperated by class):

Fusilade

Schwartzer

Sultan

@OP, the sentinel is great but its also one of the slowest in its class, consider finding a felon GT if looking for a two door coupe

No, the Sentinel is a terrible car to start off with. Yes, it's nice. Yes, it's rare. However, it's inferior to a lot of cars in terms of performance, and it is literally the worst car in the Coupes class. You're better off with the Fusilade. If your cousin has enough money and an SC account, he can get the Elegy and fully upgrade it. The Elegy is the by far the best car in the sports class and overall the second best car in the game plus you can get for free, so I don't see why he shouldn't get it.

No, unless you like the looks and solely base your decision on that. Overall it's performance is awful, even in it's class it's pathetic.

If you want a similar car, the Zion is the car to go for. Off the street it's one of the faster cars, and in races it's one of the best in it's class.

Just do some of the performance upgrades and leave most of the cosmetic upgrades to him I guess.

 

Decided on what car you are going with yet? I saw you were also thinking about the Felon or Felon GT. It's certainly better than the Sentinel performance wise. and of the others (Zion, F620, Oracle, Fusilade, Schwartzer, Sultan) Interest you?

But there is a another way around if you're determined.You can do the store premium car glitch to store the Elegy then mod it.Later,your counsin should repeat the glitch on his garage so he will also have an replica of your replicated car.

i've been trying to talk him into getting a pv but he won't do it, i told him he should make a social club account so he can get the free car and he told me "maybe some other time". so im just gonna stop asking him about a pv and wait until he actually wants one

My sentinel was my first pv and its still the one I spend 3/4 of my time driving. Pretty sure theyve buffed it when they moved it to sports
