im sure something will go wrong with the new update adding additional properties, and the ability to own more than one

im going to be waiting awhile before buying a second property, wouldnt want some random bug to destroy my character or make my vehicles disappear

They are a lot more stable now, can't say I've had any issues with them. The only issue that I did have with them was when Online initially released.

Yes. I haven't lost a car yet, *knock on wood* just the insurance on my Sabre Turbo once or twice.

Luckily the only time I lost a car was when I did a glitch wrong. So I just bought another one.

I now trust the servers, but not the actual game.

If we start losing cars, it'll probably be from a in-game glitch, not a cloud server failure.

This whole cloud thing scares me. It's also bullsh*t. My data isn't in a damn cloud so that's false advertisement.
Cloud saves are lost becuse there's so much data on the servers (how many servers are dedicated to this?) and I'm pretty sure your save crosses with another and somehow got corrupted and then the cloud is like, "oops, lol, turn off and turn on your console and see if it's there".

I'd rather go back to the dark ages of having your goddamn info on a memory card.
Or atleast do saves on the console harddrive (Red Dead had this, your MP settings would go there....like most games when I think about it).

Red Dead having your MP save on the HD was why it was so easy to "hack" yourself to max rank.

Let's not go back to that.

Reminds me of that radio commercial. "I'm in the cloud"

What about I'm not sure?

I don't have a lot of money so I'll just buy the weapons and save for a new house after waiting a bit

Ironic how they make fun of the cloud yet they use cloud saving.

I know it's suppose to be ironic and I know they know...still.

I'm on the fence, I want to believe they'll have it all properly sorted but I'm not prepared to take that chance either. I'll be waiting at least a few hours after it comes out to see if anyone reports any issues, if no one does then it'll probably be fine.

grand theft spaghetti

i transferred my old ps3 data into a new one. had to restart single player. the cloud saved my online profile.

so thats one for the cloud.

...if online is a separate game from gta5, how come im forced to replay gta 5 missions before i can start online?

I trust them more than the OP to open an upbeat thread.

You don't have to play any of V. Just hit pause as soon as the North Yankton bank heist cut-scene starts and you can go online.
