Actually, you have to get in Rons plane as the mission tells you. Of course you jump straight back out and into your Buzzard.

Nope, you can do everything before getting into the plane if you choose to, just none of the stuff will show up on the minimap, but it is all still there if you know where it is. I always land the cargobob at the airfield, then get in and out of the plane, then back into the 'bob to complete.

Nope, last time I did this mission I had to get into Rons plane before I headed to Fort Zancudo.

You havn't understood a thing I've said have you?

It's not patronisation. I was stating facts, and you're disagreeing with them, therefore, you haven't understood what I've written.

I'm merely stating my own experience of this mission as played by me. Disagree with it all you like but unless you are watching me playing this mission you have no frame of reference.

Ok well dry docking can get pretty rough so id suggest going slowly working your way in cover all angles and holes set up c4 traps ect

And get a rpg and shoot it in there and see what happens

i tried doing it on hard a few times last night and i couldn't even get to the boat because the guys kept spawning, i tried it today and i finally had time to get to the boat, i got in started going and got shot from behind and died instantly. the only time i beat it was on easy and even then it took about 5-8 tries, once i finally beat it i told myself i would never play this mission again but, here i am lol

Easy if you have a buzzard and two people. Once you crack the safe or whatever one guy drives over to the spawn point which is the next dock over I think. He shoots the helicopter down and for a bonus parachute down to the guy driving the boat.

Um, I've solo'd it on hard and don't find it as difficult as you do. The only annoying bit is the loooooooong boat ride to the end for me.

The ride is not as long if you go right and take the canal (its not real obvious) instead of going all the way around the island and its a fun drive.

I like that way too, although I don't think it's any faster, it's slightly more interesting.

and don't get me started on base invaders, i haven't even beat that mission

That one is a bitch solo.

I did it with 2 other randoms.

We started at SS airfield. The 2 others call Peggy and get their buzzard at Grapeseef.

I get in Ron's plane to activate objective and get out leave it there and call for my Entity.

I drive to base while they destroy Lazer's w: Buzzard and start battle troops to get in hanger.

I jump fence in supercar and drive right to Cargobob unscathed and fly out of hanger.

Bob takes a few shots but is still flyable.

While I fly Bob back to SS others provide covering fire with buzzard. I land at SS. Ron's plane is already there mission passed. It took a while but it was hella fun and it actually looked like I knew what the f*ck I was doing.

I'm sure there's faster ways but I couldn't do it for sh*t solo. Even if I left Ron's plane and stole a Lazer from the base to destroy others to save time. I just couldn't get to the Cargobob when going solo.
