I was really hoping the Glock would make an appearance in GTA V (it does in a way, since it's seen on certain outfits). The Glock would be a good addition to the other pistols as it's a good performing weapon in most situations. It boasts a good rate of fire, solid power, and it has good accuracy. The heavy pistol was basically a downgraded version of the Deagle, which screwed both the CE owners since they have the Deagle, and "standard" players since they should have been given access to the Deagle in the first place.

I don't need to explain why the SNS Pistol was a waste of opportunity

 

Why was it was cut from the game? (pics of it being used by Michael where released before the games actual release). Maybe it was Rockstar trying to crush my dreams... now they even taunt me by showing Michael with one on the loading screen.

 

Sadly there are many weapons that people want (proven on these forums), but not a lot of DLC slots left in Ammu-nation. Perhaps I'll just have to wait for PC. And even then, Rockstar might have a bad attitude towards using mods Online (cash cards conspiracy!).

 

Any Glock fans here on the forums?

I think the Heavy looks more like a 1911, The Deagle should eventually get to everyone (Hopefully) BUT one of the guns in the game alrready looks like a glock.

The Heavy Pistol is weapon that was added in The Business Update content pack. It is based off of the Springfield Armory TRP Operator, a variant of the M1911 pistol.

• Magazine size: 18 rounds (36 with Extended Clip)

 

To me the combat pistol looks like a Glock.

I like the feel of the semi-auto pistols. There's a certain style to putting one bullet in someones head before they can spray you full-auto. I do use the AP for drive-bys though.

There's already enough variety in the current pistols IMO. Just having re-skinned pistols for the sake of it is pointless. Although we are missing a revolver and the S&W 500.

This is true, and I've excepted the fact that the Glock probably won't be in any of the upcoming DLCs. I just wish that it was here from the start.

Agree, there was no real point in adding the Heavy Pistol, compared to CE Pistol its nothing, they might as well have made it worth while by giving us a 44. Magnum with close to the same power as the CE pistol.

Meh, Glock is a lacklustre weapon anyway. I always think of the AP Pistol to be a high powered 18C.

How about something different... The P99, CZ75, Makarov, Browning Hi-Power etc etc. Besides we don't really need a 7th sidearm/ pistol.

 

Before any new firearms are added, how about a proper smoke grenade like the M18 so that it can be deployed so that one can move from cover...

Pistol: Beretta 92

Basic 9mm pistol

 

Combat Pistol: M1911

.45 acp has better damage and range, but a lower magazine capacity

 

SNS Pistol: Walther PPK

Less power but also has less recoil

 

Heavy Pistol: Magnum .44 revolver

High power, high recoil, only 6 shots

 

AP pistol: Glock 18

Fastest rate of fire in the game, but also the least accurate

 

This would be the best pistol selection ever.

"Wherefore Art Thou" actually means "Why are you" so you said Why are you Glock. The correct way of saying it would be:

 

"Where Art Thou" which means "Where are you" so it should of been "Where Art Though Glock"

This sort of goes with GTA's "let's try and make the weapon slightly different aesthetically to avoid paying for copyrights etc" even though this weapon is real, again in .500 Magnum (bigger than the .50AE)

Which Glock do you want though?? The 17, 18, or the 21??

G17: 9mm semi-auto. The original pistol. Wouldn't exactly be better/worse than the Combat Pistol.

 

G18: 9mm full-auto. We have the AP Pistol already, so this one would be a bit redundant.

 

G21: .45 ACP semi-auto. Could compete with the Heavy Pistol due to its stopping power. I heard the 21 kicks more than an M1911 though.

 

Like Stalked said, adding reskinned pistols would be pointless if they're only slightly superior/inferior to the guns we have now.
