I would like to see these two things added it would help to set gas pools on fire add to cigarette animation and maybe add a zippo flick trick action.

Zippo would be freaking hilarious! I also thnk classic matches would be funny too. The ones you can strike pretty much off anything to create a spark.

When I opened this, truthfully I thought it was gonna be stupid...but honestly? I am sold on the zippo idea. Then you wouldn't have to shoot the gasoline trail you could just do a cool zippo trick and throw it at the trail. Count me in :D

I just think some more options on the lighting stuff on fire and fire related in game actions/taunts would be well accepted. Someone post this to R* cuz i'm lazy.

Well, anyway, I emailed R*. No reply yet, but maybe they added it to their "ideas to consider" pile instead of the "didn't read" bin.

Hmm... it would be good. I'd like to see the ability to hold a flash light on it's own and hold a pistol and a flash light in different hands instead of being attached on the gun (kinda like the Tactical knife on cod but... you know... a flash light)

They were supposed to include a "Dippo" but I guess they realized it was way faster to just shoot the gas trail.

 

In reality, the fact is that 99% of the time a gunshot would completely fail to ignite the gasoline. You're gambling on the small chance of the bullet's impact with the ground producing a spark, which will ignite the vapour. Most of the time, that spark won't occur, due to various factors such as the floor surface, ground moisture, etc etc.

 

So, quicker or not, it's far less accurate.

yes. a lot of people wll see the scubadave verified badge and say "hey, cool. it's verified by scubadave, it must be good." but they fail to double check whether it was in fact confirmed and posted by scubadave. the original comment WAS NOT. now the zippo is a good idea. all scubdave verified posts are good ideas, but not all good ideas get a scubadave verification. lesss than .01 % of all posts on this board get verified, so don't get too down on yourself. just get out there and try again.

 

SO, original zippo post not verified, the Lonesome Drifter's post about needing confirmation about aforementioned post being certified is.
