This is an outrage R* and I will not stand to be put down by your twisted crusade against your fan base. How people can be this arrogant, I will never understand...

If you realized they probably get 1000's of these per day to sift through, you would understand why they can't review every single one and send an individualized reply. In reality, your ideas aren't that important and you need to relax your delusions of grandeur. They sold 30 million units, YOU don't matter to them.

 

This is also how most large corporations conduct customer service emails....with automated responses.

I sent in an idea for a new feature and got the exact same reply. Strange enough, I didn't get mad, closed my browser and continued not being a whiny little bitch. Funny right?

Did you really expect to get a personalised reply? Have you any idea just how many support tickets get submitted on a daily basis and do you have any idea how many of those tickets are for inconsequntial crap? Do you actually expect Rockstar to employ someone to sit at a PC and wait in the off-chance that you contact them? Wise the f**k up! It's an automated reply and these are most certainly not unique to Rockstar. Any decent sized company where general inquireies can be sent will issue an automated reply as an acknowledgement that your message has been received.

 

The arrogance and entitlement is strong with the OP.

Your reading to far into that email. It doesn't say or mean any of the things you think it does.

 

I agree it feels like they don't care but they probably receive 500 000 emails exactly like yours every day so they have to be generic responses.

 

At least they responded at all.

Once, I opened a pack of Ramen Noodles and there was a dried out, dead bug in the pack.

id constitute this as an argument for trying to contact corporations honestly, id love some ramen coupons!
