Most likely late May or June... to be honest, it's pointless to keep our hopes so high. This new stuff is only going to give us a week of satisfaction, then we're back to being bored.

 

Unfortunately, you're right. Rockstar knows Heists and the big Story DLC are the two major DLCs everyone wants. Everything else they release are going to be small and will get stale in a week or so.

I doubt it. Rockstar will delay it and and come up with some other crap excuse.

 

 

Excuse????!!!!!! We won't hear a thing mate. There are tumble weeds blowing around the R* homepage, no new post from them in almost a week, and it was almost a week before that one. They tell us nothing.

Freezing issues have to be fixed before they release more content!

It freezes because the xbox hardware can't cope with a game. Nothing can be done until it is released for nxtgen.

 

I play on XBox and rarely ever freeze, about as often as i freeze playing other online games. I am to understand Rockstar have very bad servers, im not too sure how true that actually is but every game since GTA IV ive heard people complain about the sh*tty servers.

It won't be tomorrow, that's for sure. They just posted an article on how to create Capture missions.

Basically, today was the deadline of them announcing the update, it's not going to be released until next week at the earliest now.

If it's not later today millions will be pissed with them. I'm quietly confident the intended date for release is today ,the double rp madness makes no sense otherwise. It'll just cause anger people spent 2 days playing for no reason.

Lol...wow. angry that they played the game for 2 days...and got double rewards...for no reason...SMH.

I think he's right about people getting mad if it doesnt come out this tuesday though.

But yeah his last sentence makes no sense at all. You can still save that money untill it does come out.

 

I do think it comes out on tuesday with last weekend in mind, but the most important thing is fixing the damn freezing and disconnects.

In my experience the freezing is fixed with a complete reinstal on 1.12 getting rid of the original 1.11 files.

 

The connection issues come in play when your matched with people on the other side of the world.

I rarely have issues playing with my crew who is largely US based on xbox side...but when I do events with MAIN which is mostly Europe players I get connection issues. No longer freezing though.

In one of the new splash screens from this weekend Rockstar stated the High Life will come out "later this month" so by June at the latest.

 

If they are to be believed.

I think the free money glitch and RP sweep have put R* about a month behind schedule.

 

R* will probably take the game down for another maintenance period to adjust RP first

 

The release said "latter this month" so May 12 - 19 maybe.

You are probably right, I doubt they will be posting anything new on the NewsWire today about the High Life update.

 

More likely it will be next week, if it is released next Tuesday, it will be a nice birthday present for me :lol:

They announced this stuff way too early. Every time I come here to check if anything interesting has come out, all I see is some desperate attempt by Rockstar to keep people playing until they release something actually worth while. I don't play anymore until it comes out because there is nothing left for me to buy and there are no fun ways of making lots of money fast (can't stomach Rooftop Rumble anymore). I'm going to save up for all the stuff in the high life update and the cars for my second garage by playing heists.
