There are too many Liberty Cities for GTA.

It depends. A PS4/XB1 GTA set in another re do of LC (but this time even larger and more detailed) set in the 1970s or 80s? I would buy that sh*t in a heart beat. But another game set in the same LC from GTA IV? Hell no

HOW'S ANNIE?

I like LC but no. We've already had a game somewhat recently and we've still got VC, SF and LV left to explore (let alone new locations). Plus I can't see what more they can do with an NY setting other than add in Upstate New York and countryside, IV pretty much had it down packed.

I voted for reboot version. Doesn't mean I want to see LC in the next GTA, hell no. We have Vice City, San Fierro and Las Venturas first. After that, yes, I want to return to an improved LC. Though, that would take like 15 years considering the time it took to create V. We don't know if GTA will still be a good franchise by that time or if it still exist at all.

I say make every GTA from now on in LC so I can laugh at the hypocrites that would say how crap a LC themed GTA would be again only to still buy it.

I think yes, we will see Liberty City again, but first I think we will see another SA cities (or all SA cities) then we will see Vice City, London and then Liberty City. But who knows.

Weren't we just there? The answer is clear: No!

They've already got Vice City, San Fierro, and Las Venturas to return to so why the hell would they do Liberty City again? If they did, I'd say a nice "F*ck you" to Rockstar and move on with my life...

NO! Let's count the whole number of LC's R* has used: GTA 1, GTA 3, GTA VC (cutscene), GTA SA (mission), GTA LCS, GTA Advance, GTA IV, GTA CW, GTA V (cinema) clearly no. I would love to see Carcer City, Vice City or North Yankton for the next GTA not another damn LC.

But Evolution-Wise (Eras-wise) it only 3 times;

2D Era (original game in 1997),3D Era (III)

and HD Era (IV).

I just couldn't, I want a re-imagined Vice City and I can't imagine Rockstar possibly screwing it up or making it unattractive.

What is there to re-imagine? You have Miami, sure. But there is no interesting countryside, no variety, no nothing. Unless they include part of the Caribbean, I personally don't see it really being worthwhile.

Why does it always have to be Vice City or Liberty City or Los Santos?

Why not somewhere new?

Tokyo or Moscow or Paris or even Rome?

Real family gang potential in Rome (they could call it Vatican City; oh no, that wouldn't work...)

GTA did London 15 years ago,GTA did a Retro-futuristic setting aswell 15 years ago (London 69 and GTA2 both in 1999) So it not just LC,SA and VC plus we havent got an HD re-imagination of VC yet so that shows it not always.

LC in GTA IV is very good. Yes, it could be better, but how about a HD San Fierro, Vice City, Venturas, or some new city? Sticking to the same city every game is no fun. New cities add new storyline options.

You'd be surprised on the countryside around Miami...

London would be interesting. I too would like to see a GTA there but I have a feeling that its more likely we will get a GTA spin off there as opposed to a real GTA game.

I'd love to see a game by Rockstar set in the UK as a whole, GTA or not. I'm sure they can do something awesome with their home territory, even at Rockstar North's doorstep in Edinburgh.

They actually were developing a game based somewhere in England in the 1960s, dubbed "We Are the Mods," but that was going to be more of a spiritual successor to The Warriors than a GTA-like open world game. Too bad that got cancelled.

Real family gang potential in Rome (they could call it Vatican City; oh no, that wouldn't work...)

For three reasons

1) Fanboys - Uncreative lame ass semen eatting dickrider fans who cant think for themselves and who blindly or support any idea Rockstar has REGARDLESS if the idea is good. These same people scuff at the thought of a GTA in a place like Chicago, Texas, Philly, etc but then turn around and accept North Yankton as a viable location. North f*cking Dakota. According to fanboys, we cant have a game in the Midwest or East outside New York because those cites are too "similar" yet these same guys accept Calfornia and Florida which are similar. They accept the same cities repeatedly, these remakes are techncially SIMILAR locatons in regards to the originals versions. They wont accept a "similar" different city but will acept similar renditions of the same place?!? What f*cking sense does this make? LMAO So even the rationale and most of the excuses that they use to oppose new cities are fundamentally retarded.

2. Foreigners - Alot of people I talk to about GTA who are from America like me wouldnt have a problem with a new city. But most of the people on GTAForums are NOT from America nor have ever been here and have no idea about urban American social issues. They are not representative of the whole fanbase. If a person believes that NY, LA, and Miami are the only cities in the US good for a GTA then that person is seriously a retard. If this is your mindset, then you need your head slapped off your shoulders. Oh but I forgot, North Yankton is coo!!

3. Nonthinkers - People who cant come up with their own ideas independently of Rockstar. They are incapable of thinking "ahead" of the developers. Half are fanboys, the others are just dull ass people.

So fanboys, foreigners, and nonthinkers are the three main reason for folks wanting to relegate the game to 3 locations.

Not GTA, but MAFIA III will be set in New Orleans.

And about the vote, I'd say no.

Liberty State (and maybe North Alderney) YES

Liberty City. NO
