In my experience, they have been the one tag I've continually noticed screw things up in missions. I shared this story in the appropriate forum, and it was all IGN tags except me:

 

Just had the worst random party experience of my life

Doing the mission you gotta get a chopper to the roof and pick up a package and deliver it

I go and get my buzzard. Kill 18 people but get shot down. sh*t happens so now I'm spectating I proceed to watch 3 knuckleheads in a row get dropped.

1. Guy gets run over by guy #2 in an infernus because he's running the package back.

2. Guys blasted by the chopper because he tried to shoot it down instead of getting the package and driving it the last half mile

3. Comes in and instead of getting out of his car to get the package he continually drives over it until he dies by chopper.

I would understand if they were lower level but they were all 65 and up.
