San Andreas Landscape

I have to imagine theyre not just adding new apartments in the same buildings. There are a lot of buildings that are half done or framed up, like Alta St across from the apartments...you think these will become buildings to live in, thus changing the landscape of San Andreas, or is this expecting too much?

It's certainly a possibility, but I'd be more inclined to believe that they'd be opening up the existing high end real estate from the likes of www.lennyavery-realty.com (I think that's the site). If you look around the city there are a few mansions that have drive through gates, and some that don't. Maybe these are among the properties to be opened?

I could be wrong, of course, just a thought!

Seems like too much work, then they would have to advance the timeline to be "Some months after GTA V" as we are currently 6 months before... seems too large to happen.

But as time goes by in Online, so does time in offline. So they could keep it at 6 months before, no matter what, as time in Offline passes too.

Seems like but you don't work at rockstar studios so you would never even know anything about it.

Hey, I'm on the side of "please do something that cool!", I just don't think it will happen. I mean seriously... I figured it out before, but there have been like 14 years passed in this game since online went... online, so yeah, maybe some of that construction should be done... on the other hand, LS is in America not China, and for all my American brothers and sisters... we know how long any construction can take.

Yup. Looks like I'm an asshole for having an opinion, thanks for pointing that out.... whoever you are.

The "taking place before the events of GTA 5" is just a reference point, nothing more lol. It's not supposed to even be thought of after the fact yet alone speculating about time "passing" in respect to one another.

They were pretty specific on the whole "6 months" thing. It doesn't matter, I'm a Trek nerd so I am getting used to my fake universe's rules not making any sense.

I know I've read people saying the timeline is 6 months before...where did that all start from?

So, I'm not trying to prove you wrong. Basically what I was asking is if it was official or implied and whether or not that could be wiggle room.

It COULD be 6 months before V, but it could also be 2 years.

Yeah, I get you. In my googling after your post, I haven't seen any mention of the "6 months" thing, just "months before" or "a few months before". I noticed, though, that the trailers you destroy in "Stab City" as Trevor in SP still look destroyed in GTAO.

In reality I think the timelines are so f'd and crossed that you could find plotholes in either direction.

This is in SP but destroyed in MP, but such and such is alive in MP but dies in SP. I dunno....

Let's hope for a change in landscape, expect no new properties outside of the city and just take whatever they give us.

Choosing where you stay in the game, actually everything in the game shows your personality.

I really hope they have property out in the desert.
