Arvis
Computer: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 4GB DDR2 RAM ASUS 9800GT 512MB 500GBB HDD Some DVD drive Need PSU from this list: http://www.1a.lv/datoru_komponentes/barosanas_bloki I was thinking 'CORSAIR BUILDER CX430 ATX2.3 80+ 430W'but maybe there's a better/cheaper choice? This computer will stay as is, won't be upgraded in future, so I only need PSU to fit current setup.
yoječ
If you want the cheapest PSU that will get the job done, then this looks adequate: http://www.1a.lv/datoru_komponentes/barosanas_bloki/fortron_fsp_atx12v_80_300w_fsp30060ghn80 Although it should be noted that the cabling is pretty barebone (2x Molex, 2x SATA), and it has no PCIe connector - if it's required by your video card you'd have to use an adapter. If you want something better, then the CX430 seems alright. Edited April 3, 2014 by yojo2
Arvis
Thanks! But is 300W PSU (even 80plus one) really enough for this?
Ryan
300W seems to be cutting it pretty close to the system's requirement. I'd go with the 430W to be safe. Better to have more than enough power than not enough.
Arvis
Then I guess I'll go with 430W, price difference isn't that big anyway.
yoječ
Knowing that you don't plan to upgrade the rig, 300W seems to be spot-on. Although extra power never hurts.
